"Silver" bathmats are not silver or gray.
I have not used these bath mats yet, so cannot comment on absorbency, etc, however, the color is not even close to being silver or even gray. I'm not even sure what color to call it.The washcloths I ordered from this set are a lovely silver-gray. But the bath sheets, hand towels, and these bath mats are not. I'm very disappointed in the color.

These are really nice bath mats
They are bath mats, not bath rugs. They are like a very thick towel that you step out of the shower or tub onto so you don't get the floor or rug wet. then it dries by the next time you use it. That said, these are really excellent quality. Very thick and luxurious. Sadly I ended up returning because the color didn't match - the plum was a bit on the blue side of purple and I need a more reddish purple. But still, I felt bad returning because they are so nice. I do recommend!

Fraying and pilling after first wash
I didn't expect TOO much as far as quality from this item, as the price was very reasonable. However, after one normal wash I noticed some fraying on the back and what I can best describe as "pilling" on the front. I'm not too worried about the back as it won't be showing, I just hope it doesn't continue and I end up with a bath rug that is falling apart sooner than expected. The "pilling", however, is frustrating as it is on the front of both bath mats.

Perfect for my most used bathroom. I can easily throw them in the washer and back down on the floor. They’ve lasted wash after wash
