Upgrade from the standard IST video monitor to one that also takes snapshots! In addition to providing live video of your doorstep, the IST Video Door Intercom with Recording Monitor has built-in memory to store up to 240 still photos, allowing you to record who rings your doorbell even if you aren't there to answer. It's compatible with the main IST Video Door Intercom Door Station, just like the standard no-snapshot monitor. This monitor works just like your original Intercom Monitor; you can see visitors, speak with visitors, and unlock an optional door release mechanism. It also lets you take still photos and store them internally. A photo will be taken anytime the doorbell is rung, but left unanswered. You can also manually take a snapshot when you answer and speak with your visitor. By integrating multiple monitors into one system, you will create a room-to-room intercom system, which allows communication not only between a monitor and the Door Station, but also between different monitors. The add-on Intercom Monitor wires into the system with the included 30-foot cable. If you need a longer connection, you can connect the components using 4 conductor, 20 AWG minimum wire (sold separately) up to 400 feet. The IST Video Door Intercom System supports up to four Intercom Monitors and four Door Stations total.
