    Better than the first volume, which I also liked!

The second volume adds a lot more character development to go with the good parts of the first volume. Definitely a series worth following for yuri fans. There's some imperfections and history lurking and its handled in a not overly dramatic way. Fairly reallistic, the art is still interesting,and now, so are the characters.

    How about a couple misunderstandings and a rave?

The 2 start to drift apart due to miscommunication. The idea comes up for a massive rave. Now, they have to convince the rest of the group. Finally, at the end, the 2 say how they really feel, and there is a very tastefully done love scene. Good dialogue throughout. Now time for the party!

I didn't care for the second volume of after hours. It was okay but not great. The writing isn't as good, but the art is still appealing. Overall, I think the first volume is better.
