beautiful photos and history of many cloth dolls but not a lot of primitive hand make dolls.corner bent as it is a soft cover book sent in a padded envelope with no stiff protection. pages all ok.

Nice collection of history of cloth dolls through history. I wished for more on the early dolls though. Still in all a good book.

I found this book helpful in my research on cloth dolls. It is weighted towards American dolls but there are some of the UK-made ones too. Some of the information is a wee bit questionable, but it was written quite a long time ago so I guess that's forgiveable. It's most useful for the photographs, and there are lots of them.
