Brilliant blackout
Finally a blackout tent that’s actually blackout! After trying and returning three other “blackout” sleep pods/bed tents for my kids to use while camping, this is the only thing that actually blocks out light. Useful as a standalone tent or as a “pod” within our bigger family tent without the pegs.

Kompaktes 3‑Mann-Zelt mit solider Ausstattung – kleine Abstriche bei Wind
Ich habe das Coleman Darwin 3 für ein zweitägiges Festival und einen Wochenend-Trip getestet und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden: Aufbau & Handhabung Das Zelt lässt sich dank farblich markierter Stangen und Bodentaschen in unter 10 Minuten aufbauen. Die Anleitung ist verständlich. Einmal eingerastet, steht es stabil – ideal, wenn man nach Anreise schnell ins Trockene möchte. Platzangebot & Komfort Für zwei Personen plus Gepäck ist das Innenraum großzügig bemessen. Stehhöhe erreicht man zwar nur in der Mitte, zum Sitzen und Schlafen bietet es ausreichend Bewegungsfreiheit. Belüftungsnetze an beiden Seiten verhindern zu starke Kondensation. Stabilität & Wetterfestigkeit Bei leichtem Regen und Wind (bis ca. 30 km/h) hielt das Außenzelt dicht, auch der Boden mit 1500 mm Wassersäule erwies sich als zuverlässig. Bei stärkerem Wind sollte man unbedingt alle Abspannleinen nutzen – ohne sie flattert das Dach bei Böen etwas. Transport & Packmaß Zusammengepackt misst das Zelt kompakte 58 × 18 × 18 cm und wiegt etwa 3,3 kg. Das Röhren-Tragetasche-Material ist robust, der Reißverschluss gleitet leicht – perfekt, um es im Kofferraum oder Rucksack zu verstauen. Fazit: Ein durchdachtes, leichtes 3‑Mann-Zelt für Festivals und Wochenend-Trips. Ein Stern Abzug, weil es bei sehr starkem Wind ohne Abspannungen etwas flattert. Für den Preis und die Ausstattung trotzdem klare Empfehlung!
