Product Description Aedes Ars The church of Santa Cecilia is located in a dominant position on the town centre, on the hillside where the ruins of the castle of Aguilar del Campo, in the province of Palencia, Spain. It was declared a Historical-Artistic Monument in 1963. The date of its construction, 1041, apparently appeared on a tombstone now missing. It was until the middle of the XIII century the main church of the original Aguilar nucleus. The present building can be dated in the last years of the XII century and principles of the XIII and its construction seems to be sponsored by the family of the Lara. It shows a massive lightened exterior volume By a beautiful tower raised in the place of one of the lateral apses; Its interior, which consists of a three-nave plan and double headboard with wooden roof, houses some interesting capitals. The current church is the result of several constructive campaigns developed throughout the Middle Ages and Baroque period. Great for the price
Bought as an evening project and wasn't disappointed. Didn't come with everything you need but didn't expect it to for the price. Plenty of spare bricks and tiles.
