UPDATE 2/12/19: downgrading to 4-stars because there appears to be a short in the cable (location indicated in photo). if this part of the cable is straightened out, the signal cuts out. so i had to wrap some gaffe tape to keep the bend in this section curved to get a signal. hope it doesn't get worse.bought this to replace an old 1byone flat antenna that's been sun damaged from hanging in the window on 2nd floor. skywire antenna works just as well. i don't use the amplifier, which i think makes it worse by picking up less channels. i'm about 30mi away from local antennas.

great product
had bought this item with low expectations. arrived quickly and set up even faster. hooked it up and stuck it to a west facing window (all stations receivable are about 50-55 miles WNW of here). received 53 stations after channel scan. wow! our outdoor antenna, which is attached to the soffit on the same side of the house, gets 64 stations and it's pointed in the correct direction (280-283 degrees). for merely pointing due west and through trees, this budget antenna exceeded all expectations! very happy with purchase!note: i saw in some reviews that a USB electrical plug wasn't included and wanted to specify that ours did. in total, the contents of the box were - antenna with coaxial, amplifier extension w/ coax to TV, USB cord, and AC adapter for USB.

Set up is a snap!
So we are satellite subscribers, and every year contracts to re-air local television stations come up, negotiations fall through, and we begin losing channels, like fox so far this year. What is the solution? Free digital tv! You can't beat the price, and installation is so easy, just make sure you place it somewhere inconspicuous, and close to a window for the best reception! Now, it's time to do the channel scan, and suddenly you are ready, with what seems to me like a whole new line up! Picture clarity is very nice, so the built in signal booster is wonderful. Couldn't be happier with this brand! :)

No AC Adapter
You are misled to believe you have the full package until you open the package and find out there is NO AC Adapter. What a waste of time.

Might be good for someone
Didn’t work well for me, could only get a couple channels. Probably ok if you live closer to tv towers. I’m about 20 miles away from the nearest if that helps anyone.
