Great Gems, would have liked Coins instead of Ingots
The gems are nice, if a little small for the price. It would have been nice if the set had included more of each gem, but it matches the parts in the base game. I ended up purchasing coins from a different vendor to go with the set in place of the little gold ingots.

Bought this despite not playing the game
So I don't play Splendor, but I do engage in the LARP community. This gem set is a wonderful addition to my coin set. While they definitely have the feel of plastic, they look the part of gemstones, and that's what really counts.

Very pretty substitute to using those chips for Splender
My group really enjoys using these compared to the chips that come with the game. One of the pieces did arrive damaged which was promptly replaced by the vendor.

I don't play splendor, but they make great props for D&D
I like to use fantasy metal coins for my D&D games for loot, and these are the most realistic fantasy gems I've found (besides overly expensive synthetic ones) They look great in a treasure chest sprinkled among gold coins.

I'm sorry..WHAT?
No, I didn't buy these..for one simple, solitary reason.Go to Michaels..or some craft store. Go fill a basket with six different color gems (or whatever craft thing you want to represent each jewel)..go to the counter, give them, what, $10. Go home, take comfort in the fact that you didn't spend $50 on game pieces.Good luck!
