Box set of three discs, each offering a collection of episodes from the popular TV series 'Buffy, the Vampire Slayer' featuring a favourite leading character. Disc 1 offers a collection episodes featuring Spike (James Marsters). In 'School Hard', Buffy's mother and friends become trapped inside Sunnydale High School when a vampire named Spike launches an attack against the slayer. In 'Lie To Me', Buffy (Sarah Michelle Geller) is lured into a trap by a group of undead wannabes who hope that Spike will make them vampires. Spike returns to Sunnydale and kidnaps Willow (Alyson Hannigan) in 'Lover's Walk'. In 'Fool for Love', Buffy asks him to explain how he killed two slayers many years earlier. Disc 2 offers a collection of favourite Angel (David Boreanaz) episodes. In 'Angel', Buffy (Sarah Michelle Geller) discovers Angel's horrifying secret. In 'Innocence', Buffy and her friends battle the Judge and face an unexpected danger from Angel. Sunnydale High School is haunted by the ghosts of a former student and teacher who re-enact their tragic romance in 'I Only Have Eyes for You' and, as Christmas approaches, Angel is tormented by the evil apparitions who want him to eliminate Buffy in 'Amends'. Disc 3 offers a collection of episodes featuring Willow. In 'Phases', Buffy and her friends discover secrets about themselves as they battle a werewolf, its hunter and their own emotions. In 'Doppelgangland', Anya (Emma Caulfield) and Willow inadvertently summon Willow's evil double from an alternate universe. In 'Wild at Heart', Oz (Seth Green) finds himself unable to control his attraction to a sexy singer. Finally, in 'New Moon Rising', Oz's return to Sunnydale leads to his incarcaration and complicates the relationship between Willow and Tara.

comically enchanting
the video arrived recently and it was amazing, bargaining was brilliant, the return of buffy was action packed and very dramatic.. afterlife was also great, and flooded the episode where things start to turn to 'normal' again, life serial despite the negative reviews on this ep is pretty good.. all the way was also decent but not as much.. once more with feeling could of got any better especially in widescreen along with tabula rasa (real tearjerker with great song from Michelle branch) and the last 3 are really good where things take a turn for the worst as willows magic addiction starts to take drastic turns for the worst as well as buffys relationship with spike.. this is classed as the darker side of buffy, well, apart from the geeky trio but they soon turn darker... buy this season now :)

Spike sex, scooby death and evil Willow - it can't go wrong!
By the end of Season 5 I was dubious about the return of Buffy - but Joss came through and made this the best Season since 3. The maturer cast, who came of age in Season 4, are really getting to grips with adulthood - lots of high-standard drama, way above Dawson and Roswell. The musical episode in this boxset is worth the money in itself - the producers (one of whom sings herself!) really out did themselves with those dances and musical treats. But even after all this its Amber Benson (Tara) who shines throughout the season - not only that but she can sing. Its my 10th Buffy boxset and it won't be my last.

Great value & great viewing
Between the three sets of episodes there's a lot of Buffy covered here, and is a great way to quickly transverse almost the whole storyline. You should be able to pick this up very cheaply.

If you love anything buffy this series is a MUST!!
Season five is hard to beat, and season six tries its hardest to match up but runs a little short of the target. Emotions run high as buffy tires to return to her normal life but finds strange differences. The introduction of spike as a love interests is a great turn for Buffy the sereis, however, wheldon appears to be absent from some of the episodes and the audience will be able to tell. However some great perfromances for geller and masters and lets not forget ANYA, we love her little ways. If you have the other sereis you must buy this.

A Brief History of 3 Key Buffy Characters!
This is a fantastic little set, which contains some of my favourite Buffy episodes ("I Only Have Eyes For You", "Doppelgangland", "Wild At Heart"). If you can't afford the series boxsets, then this is an excellent way to bide your time whilst saving... 3 discs - each dedicated to a key Buffy character and containing 4 key episodes for each, which span across the seasons. The boxset packaging is rather simple and unimaginative (no fancy foldout designs nor informative episode guide as with the standard series sets) but for the price and considering the great array of episodes you get, it is easy to let it slide. The Special Features section seemingly doesn't have much to offer (only a Character Profile and a DVD Trailer) but the Character Profile features a range of clips from all seasons and interviews with the actors and writers, which is much better than the screen bio that I was expecting! All in all, thoroughly recommended - enjoy a selection of Willow, Spike and Angel's finest Buffy moments at a fraction of the usual boxset cost!
