The best thing to happen to keys since locks
This thing is so simple, but it's changed the way I feel about my keys. Traditional rings make it almost impossible to add a gadget or something to your keys. Right now I'm using this to carry 7 keys, a Tile (Gen 2) - Phone Finder. Key Finder. Item Finder - 4 Pack - Save 30%, a Silicon Power 32GB Firma ZN F80 USB 2.0 Flash Drive, Gray Aluminium (SP032GBUF2F80V1S) and a small folding knife with ease. My keys aren't jumbled or tangled any more. I almost feel ridiculous leaving such a glowing review for something as simple as a small metal cable...but I can't recommend this product enough. 10/10. Would buy again.

> DOES THE JOB
DESCRIPTION> Bare stainless steel "aircraft" cable, without a clear plastic coating> 5 "key rings", each 6" long> Each closed creates a ring 2" in diameter> You can use more than one piece, for example 2 pieces makes a ring ~3 3/4" in diameter> The "aircraft" cable is 1mm diameter--about half as thick as the photos imply> The coupler is 3/16" (~4mm) in diameter> So, you can string through ~3mm diameter holes, but for the key or other item to pass over the connector, the hole would have to be ~4mm or 1/4" in diameterOTHER> It took a full 4 weeks to receive the package.> Well made> Closes smoothly> You can use a LITTLE glue on the threads to keep the "key rings" from opening. Ordinary "white glue" works well, and you can still open the "key rings" if you want. DO NOT use "superglue" unless you want the "key rings" closed permanently. Elmer's Washable No-Run School Glue, 4 oz, 1 Bottle (E304)> I did NOT receive a stylus, although I've purchased them separately. 10 in 1 Bundle Mini Capacitive Stylus / Styli Pen - Blue Purple Red Green Gold White Black Pink Silver Chrome - for Compatible Models> The photo of the stylus is not to scale, it is larger, about 2" long with a peg which plugs into the earphones socket of your phone or tablet. I actually use one on the touch screen of my camera.> Click on “Stoney” just below the product title to see my other reviews, or leave a comment to ask a question.

Nice for keychains and other various uses
Very nice for the price, you can't argue with how cheap these things are. Mine were all the same and were the length advertised. From reading other reviews, it sounds like some people had different experiences. As with any of these generic products with most of the sellers shipping from Taiwan/ China, it's going to vary sometimes depending on the seller. Choose a seller with a decent rating and you should be sent what you actually ordered. The wire is bare but it's well clamped at the end so there's nothing rough to snag pockets or anything. They're pretty easy to connect and disconnect but if you're doing this multiple times a day you probably want something quicker. I imagine they would wear out quicker if you're unthreading them hundreds of times too since the threads are pretty small. They seem reasonably strong but they obviously aren't intended to hold any kind of weight. The size when looped is a little larger than most keychains but it makes up for it by flexing and laying flat in your pocket.

Durable and nice cable, more stylish and refined way to carry your keys than a standard split ring.
Been using this for a month or so on my keys and it does well.Cable shows a few signs of deformation if the keys stay in a certain way, but it can be easily evened out. The screw part is pretty tight and usually doesn't loosen which was my biggest fear when I switched from split ring to cable.Very nice cable, not sure where the "gunsmoke" part is but it looks and feels nice. Here is my current key loadout:Nite-Ize S-Biner #3 (or whatever the 25 lb one is)This cableRFID fobFord Focus key (2005)Focus key fob (2005)House key with rubber guardWork keyThen these on mini locking S-biners:Victorinox Rambler, blackSiliconPower USB3 64GB flashdriveFenix E05 flashlight, black.

Finally a key ring I'm not breaking my fingernails trying to get keys on!
PRIOR review: These are JUST what I needed! Perfect size. You'll think it's a BIT large, but you'll get used to it and it's so easy to add keys and remove them, plus they are not all bunched together. It screws together, just make sure you screw it snugly so it doesn't come loose and you're good to go!Update: Looking for a different key ring now. After five times of it coming open and my keys splattering all over the place (including once in deep grass), I GIVE UP. YOU CANNOT RELY on these things to STAY CLOSED! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! BEWARE, count your keys so you know how many to look for when this thing falls aparet, AND IT WILL!

as advertised
i bought these because my key rings were getting a bit congested. they offer me flexibility and room to add more keys/items as necessary. and i love the "screw-and-barrel" connection. it is nice and sturdy, holds very well and doesn't get loose due to movement in your pocket/bag/pouch.they are also good for securing tools in a tool bag so the tools don't get scattered while in the bag. i plan on buying some for my brother-in-law for him to use in his shop.if you carry a lot of keys or have trouble keeping small tools wrangled, then i highly suggest getting a set (or two) of these.

Well Finished Stainless Steel Cables
These are in polished but uncolored Stainless Steel. They close up into a circle of approximately 2 inches in diameter & are connected together by screw tiny together ends . You can hook 2 or more together to make larger rings if needed. They are well finished & seem be of high quality. I will be using them to hook together various emergency fire starting devices in our EDC/SERE Bags & Bug Out Bags. I will probably end up buying a couple more sets (probably longer ones .... these are as short as that which I think would be practical) as I can see numerous other uses for them.
