Our son was so congested that he was having a hard time eating, and the bulb aspirators just weren't cutting it. That evening we sprayed some saline nasal spray in his nose (important!!) and then used this device and it instantly pulled out some of the biggest chunks of mucous and snot effortlessly. Instantly our little boys breathing was 100% better, and he was a happy little boy again, eating well and sleeping like, well, a baby I suppose. I would highly recommend this to every parent out there as a great tool to battle nasal stuffiness and congestion.

Can't praise this little device enough. I've been looking at electric aspirator for ages, however, always resisted buying due to its price. I've tried a usual one and had no success at all. I don't know why and whether I was doing something wrong, but all my attempts to do it "manually" with a sucking device with some kind of a "pipe" I got from the pharmacy ended up with no mucus exctrated and histerical child, who just hates the process and runs away when just sees it. My husband gave up on those stuff as well and consider it useless. However, autumn and nursery started and here we go... One picks up something somewhere and all in the house are sneezing, snoring, coughing. Mucus is a horrible thing for a small child, who just can't get rid of it by his own. It all affects eating, sleeping, etc. Last week was just awful again with calpol and runny noses and crying crying crying. I admit, my husband was upset when saw a bank statement online as the electric aspirator I bought was not cheap and he was sure that it's going to be useless again and just saline drops are enough. He's changed his mind once our poorly little one had a proper night sleep at last! I bought this aspirator because of the very good reviews and delivery speed. No regrets. It's so simple to use and clean and very effective. It had batteries in a package, which was pleasant surprise as almost all battery operated devices don't have them included. I found the strongest mode 3 as the most effective, however, other modes may be more suitable to use on younger babies when they're asleep as mode 1 and 2 are quiter. It has lights for distractions and plays nursery rhymes!!! I'm not sure why it's piggy on a train rather than wheels on a bus, but my kid starts smiling and laughing when he hears Oink Oink Oink. It works. No tears!!!!!!!! Smiling!!!!! It extracts LOADS of mucus. I haven't used it with saline drops so far as there's no much of congestion, just runny nose. I'd use saline stuff if congestion is here, though. I'm very happy with this device. Was worth the money.

We have an analog snot sucker which we thought would be good to replace as baby had a longer cold and it was tiresome to always suck his little nose. Got this hoping it will help and would do a good job as it has 3 speed settings but the suction is very weak and took hardly any snot out. With the analog one I have sucked out a LOT after I have used this product and my little ones’s nose still felt blocked. The music is very mechanic and baby was scared by it and the motor is loud too. Lights were distracting as long as the thing wasn’t switched on. I will return this item.

Not very strong suction. I have a manual one that I have to do the sucking and it's much better than this one. It's a good idea with the lights (although the music is anoying) but it just doesn't remove all the buggies

When it first arrived it was great. Sucked the snot out and played a happy little tune that our little one liked. Pretty easy to clrmean under running water but cannot quite get into the nooks and granny's to give a really effective clean but not a disaster.However, all of a sudden it stopped working. Which is a pain as it's now out of the return window and I cannot find a way to contact the seller. Waste of money.

I love my child, but I still don't like the thought of using my mouth to suck the snot from his nose. This does the trick perfectly. My baby struggled to sleep at night for a couple of weeks due to a bunged up nose. This helps suck out those bogies, and if used with a nasal spray, it definitely helped him sleep better at night.He does hate it though. But what child would enjoy something being shoved up his nose. That said, the flashing lights and really creepy choo choo noises does distract him from it all.Easy to use (4 buttons: on/off, speed/strengh, music, lights), and pretty easy to clean.

An excellent piece of equipment. My 5 month old baby is full of a cold and obviously doesn't yet know how to blow his nose so it's been heart breaking listening to him try and breathe through his nose whilst feeding and getting frustrated whilst doing so. This product, whilst not the most glamorous to talk about is exactly what was required to clear that snot from his nose and allow him to breath so much easier. Highly recommended!

I liked the concept of it, the lights and music as a distraction but I think I was feeling a lil too optimistic that this would stop my bub crying altogether and stop him slapping it out the way. The only issue I had was though it sucked the clear thin kinda mucus it didn’t clear the thicker type. Still had to do it the old fashioned way. Machine could have done with a larger hole and slightly more powerful suction.
