Joe Chocolates Gift Box Caffeinated Dark Chocolate (Salted Caramel, Midnight Coconut, Honey Almond, Holy Cacao) (Gift Box 4-Pack)

I ordered the 4 pack box to try them all after seeing segment on the TV about this company. I expected something really good, but the chocolate was just o.k. For half of the price sure, but for what the price is now - not buying it again. I know they have fancy waterproof packaging, but I did not intend of using them when hiking, so don't care about the hitech packaging at all. Maybe the company can lower the price and do simpler packaging for customers that are not buying them for when hiking.

The chocolates are sublime, and i have now tried all varieties. My favorite is the salted caramel. i love the individual packaging, and was surprised to see that the chocolates were shipped with cool packs so they didn't melt. They were really solidly boxed within a foil liner, too!As someone who makes chocolate bark with espresso, I know that it's not easy work. There is something about combining coffee with chocolate that makes it tricky. So Kudos to Joe! But they are still pretty expensive.

We enjoyed them very much. Caution, if your not a dark chocolate fan, these are not for you. The coffee bean and the chocolate marry quite nicely, but have a very dark chocolate feel.

I first encountered Joe Chocolates at PCT Days in Cascade Locks, OR. What can I say! Chocolate - coffee together. A marriage made in heaven. These chocolates rock! I am a huge fan.
