The Family Audio Bible CD Audio CD – Unabridged, September 30, 2008

Based on the image on the Cd cover, I was listening for more kid friendly drama in the voices with music in the background while each scripture was being read. It is not holding my 3, 7 and 10 yr olds attention.

Grandson enjoyed it.

I thought this would have background noises and different voices for the different people speaking. It is just the reading of the Bible, one voice.

We use this cd set at bedtime and the kids love it. It's great to be able to continue to feed them God's word as they go to sleep.

Me and my daughter listen to it while we are on our way to daycare and back home. It's fun learning the bible stories while driving instead of having to read them.

Soft and gentle reading of the kids Bible. I love it and so is my kids.

My whole family absolutely LOVES this cd! I agree with the previous reviewer that it is very basic scripture reading - no fluff, but that is what we love about it. We play it in the car and both my 10 year old and 2 year old enjoy it and ask for it to be played. I love that there is nothing added - just straight reading of God's word!

英語は、とても聞きやすいです。男女数人が別々のセクションを担当して朗読していますから、その点でも役に立つでしょう。また、キリスト教の背景がないヨーロッパ系の言語を学習される大学生の方々にも、文化の予備知識としての聖書を知るために、最初の手ががりとしてとても有効なのでは？と思います。だって、信者でもないのに、いきなり新旧約聖書を読もうとしても、なかなか味わうことも、教養的な知識を選ぶのも難しいでしょうから。朗読は、Family向け＝子どもと楽しむ、という設定ですので、成人向けのものよりは少しドラマチックですが、鼻につくことはなく、真摯で素直な口調に好感が持てました。
