In terms of consistency the DS 45 are superior to the DS 40 birds. I have used both sets and with the DS 40 I have used birds from multiple batches but with the DS 45, I can say with absolute certainty that these are a very good bird. At this price point you may be able to purchase Aeroplane Black, RSL tourney Green (if you have a solid supplier), Aero Tour, and Yonex AS-30 (for roughly 26-27 so more expensive).Out of all the birds in this 23-27 dollar price range I recommend the Durasmash DS FORTY-FIVE (not the 40, note: NOT the 40) bird for use. The durability is solid at this price point, the flight path is fairly consistent throughout the life of the bird, and the convenience of being able to buy these birds off of Amazon is a huge advantage as well.Obviously these won't be as good as Aeroplane Black Ltd edition, or AS-40s and 50s, but at this pricepoint I feel like these are great competitors. And their availability adds to their attractiveness as an option.Overall, I recommend these birds and will update this review as I continue to use more tubes.

Good shuttles for competitive games, but it is a little fast. It will last up to 2 games. It was a good value when I bought them, now the price went up 50%. I was going to buy at least 5 more tubes, but I would not buy them again due to significant the price increase.

I bought a total of 10 tubes overall and everyone around me loves using these for their games and start buying these now. It takes a while for the birdies to break even while smashing. This is more for casual competitive games. It last about half a game depending how often you smash. The speed is 77 standard which great. I purchased most of the amazon birdies and this is by far the best birdies worth the cost and benefits. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

While these shuttlecocks are a bit fast, they're probably the best option you can buy over Amazon and are pretty good quality for under $30. I use these all the time for training sessions and playing on challenge courts or with friends. However, I wouldn't pull these out for a tournament; I would prefer something higher quality for matches with higher stakes.

I am literally blown away by how incredibly durable these birdies are!! I am a coach and a professional badminton player. Me and other coaches in a club would play an open gym from time to time, and we would do a lot of full blown smashes on this. After a game, I’m just blown away how the feathers are STILL intact!!For a $20 tube of this is just as worth as buying a yonex AS50, but 2x cheaper!!!! Definitely recommend!!!

As a Malaysian, closest cheap option to a good sleeve of shuttlecocks, pretty stable in flight. Learn how to steam your shuttlecocks before using because that'll make them last longer before it gets brittle, especially in colder drier weather. Fast for Americans, good for intermediate play.

I have been looking for good quality shuttlecocks everywhere on Amazon, which is pretty hard as most of the shuttlecocks either does not have good flying speed or good durability. This shuttlecock is by far the best quality that is worth its price. Good flying speed, can play around 2 full doubles game or 3 full singles game. Definitely worth the price.

This shuttle is supposed to be one of their high end shuttle. However, the fly is very abnormal. Every clear will go out. It’s bad to a point that we had to switch to a different brand shuttle. I still have a roll and will probably give it to beginners at my club for free. If you like crazy fast and light touch shuttles then go for it. This is definitely no where close to the standards of bwf approved shuttles. Triangle badminton club shuttles are way better.
