The only reason for 3 stars and not 5 is the issue I had with the first mask leaking (seemed to be a defect in the mask itself). I purchased this product because I am not a huge fan of the traditional snorkel and mask and wanted to give the full face mask a try. When I tested out the first mask I received, it leaked at the top filling the mask with water. I tried everything I could think of to stop the leaking. I ended up writing to the company for help. The company was great! They were quick to reply to me and actually ended up sending me another mask! The second one arrived and I have not had any issues with leaking so far. I love the view from the full face mask. I have recommended this product to many friends that also enjoy snorkeling and will continue to recommend this product.

I purchased this snorkel mask for my 11-year-old ahead of a beach trip. We weren't going to do any serious snorkeling, he just wanted something to search for "cool" stuff at the beach. Several people who were on the trip with us used it from a 7-year-old to a 43-year-old. It is hard to get a perfect seal - some water would slowly leak in at the chin area, but it was easy enough to stop and drain it every 10 minutes or so. We didn't have any issues with fogging. I wouldn't use this for serious snorkeling, but for something that looks cool at the beach it was perfect - not much more expensive than a pair of mask goggles and cheaper than a full snorkel set.

I purchased six of these (a mix of both sizes) for a family vacation to Hawaii and the chin valve on all of them leaked badly. This caused the masks to fill up with water as we inhaled. Some were worse than others but the best had to be emptied every 6-8 breaths with the worst flooding on the first breath. We were using these on the surface but I also tried diving (to see if the additional pressure on the valve would help it seal), resulting in even worse leaking. Due to the mask's construction, the chin valve is inaccessible and there was no way to try to examine or adjust the seal of the chin valve diaphragm. My kids and I were greatly disappointed with these and the poor performance spoiled what should have been a great day of snorkeling. I strongly recommend against buying this mask as it is essentially unusable

I bought 5 of these and none of them worked properly. No matter how well it fit or how tight I made it, it always leaked water at the chin. It ruined my son's snorkeling experience and I ended up renting him a regular snorkel mask and breather.While using mine further away from shore, my started leaking at the chin and water started covering my mouth and nose and next thing I knew I was inhaling sea water. I had to constantly remove and purge the mask in order to use it. I ended up leaving all of them in Hawaii and didn't want to pay for the extra weight in my luggage to bring them back.This was by far my worst investment for my Hawaii trip. If you want a trouble free snorkeling experience, get a regular mask and breather.

Love this face mask! It does take a few tries to master breathing in this, to fast or hard of breathing allows water in, other than that is it perfect for swimming laps without interruption.

Kids loved them!Was hard to go under the water. Really made you stay at the top of the water but still worked well!

I like the concept but it didn't keep the water completely out maybe the seal wasn't perfect.

Leaked from day 1!!Only used it once.Too late to return it.Stuck with it.Water came in through the chin areaOrdered 5 from diffrent vendor's they all leak.
