Anglo-Saxons & Vikings (Usborne History of Britain) Paperback – 1 Dec. 2012

A really readable book for my year 4 son, taught him lots to support his school project. Excellent combination of information and images. Really eye Catching page design. Wish you could bye a set of more time periods covered by schools.

This book is perfect for introducing norse culture and its influence on England to the young.

Useful and lively support for school topic.

I ordered this for my eight year olds school project and she loved it. It was easy to flick through to look up information and well illustrated. It had a good balance of information and pictures with enough detail to be interesting but not to much which would be overwhelming.

A VERY INTERESTING BOOK. Easily understandable for all ages. Much more pleasurable than some of the dry times written about the subject. I recommend it too anyone that wants a knowledge without being sent to sleep.

I find History of Britain fascinating and this book is just great, not only for children but also for adults. It is full of explanations, drawings, real pictures and diagrams, very didactic actually. I received it totally new and at the time expected.
