Early Man [Blu-ray]

Video story was wonderfully animated. My soccer-loving Grandsons saw the video several times. Each viewing brought forth delightful comments from them. I would recommend this to all soccer fans!

Good wholesome family entertainment

What's not to like? It's a novel "stone age" story, marvelous characters, beautiful sets, all enhanced by the incredible detail and depth of fully realized 4K. The HDR is particularly effective, giving bright contrasting colors. Viewed on a 120" screen projected in 4K it is immersive, drawing one into a wonderful world where the stone age and bronze age crash against each other. Especially beautiful are the soft fabrics contrasting with glittering, hard metal. It's almost as good as 3D, worth watching again over and over. Bravo!

I decided to give watching Early Man film a chance after my sweet husband expressed an interest in seeing this film. Early Man ended up being more watchable than I expected and it was fun watching this with my husband. The film has some laughs as one group/tribe competes with another group via a sports game. The caveat to this stop motion film is that a person has to look past their preference for historical accuracy for Early Man.

This is a fun new release by the folks at Aardman and directed by the master, Nick Park.It is the story of football (soccer) and how a tribe of underdogs uses the power of love and teamwork to overcome a daunting challenge.There are plenty of sight gags for the younger viewers and lots of verbal double meanings for the grownups.It is one of my favorite Aardman films.The good guys speak in English accents and the bad guys speak in French accents.The video is very British. If you love the Goon Show, Monte Python, I'm Sorry I'll read that Again, and other seminal British comedies then you will likely love this one.

Such a cute movie! Eddie Redmayne did a fabulous job as always. It's about futball (soccer) and I'm not a sports fan so I wasn't sure if I would like it, but you really don't need to be to watch this movie. However, you do need to be a fan of British humor lol.

Like the title suggests, this animated movie is based on ancient times.The protagonist is a young kid who plays a role to keep his community alive.The sound tracks are amazing! Its one of those rare movies where you want the movie lasted longer!Highly recommend it.

I had high expectations of this since it was from the same people who did Wallace & Gromit and of course Shaun the Sheep. Wasnt what I expected so didnt live up to what I would of liked. Its something different to watch with the family if nothing else worth watching

My 6 year old grandson loved this film!

Formulaic and without much of a narrative thread. I felt that the ‘Aardman Process’ was being followed blindly in the hope of producing another hit. This was distinctly average.....it needed a much better script/story.

I collect films on DVD, Blu-ray & 3D Blu-ray where possible - this is another one to add to my extensive collection - great film, good family entertainment & I highly recommend both it & the seller.
