Might not actually fit what you need them to
2 stars off for inaccurate compatibility.I bought these to use for license plate lights on my c6 corvette and interior lights. In both cases the base of the light housing or whatever you would call it is too large and doesn't allow the terminal itself to fully seat in the sockets on the car so I couldn't even get them to turn on.With the license plate lights, it's also too long and hits the plastic cover before you can seat it and twist it to lock it in place. There's no way to run these in the corvette's license plate lights unless you remove the plastic cover and leave the bulb exposed to the elements.I plugged a couple into my 04 civic though which fit fine and they're great and super bright. Can't beat them for the price if they will fit what you need them for. Just shouldn't have been listed as compatible with my c6.

Works in my '01 CLK320
Works great as a map light bulb replacement in my 2001 CLK320, and they're very bright. I can't say if these are error free or not due to some non-error free LED backup lights I'm using that need resistors and are throwing a canbus malfunction/error code. These are a little bit longer and a bit bigger around than a standard bulb, but they fit the socket and light housing (just) without issue. For the price, quantity, and brightness, you can't go wrong (unless they throw a canbus error).

They do not last
I installed 8 of these in my minivan. 6 months later 4 of them are flickering. LED are supposed to last longer than incandescent but these only seem to last about 6 months. My original incandescent bulbs lasted over 10 years. Stay away from these unless you plan to replace them every 6 months. When they work, they are very bright.Update: 4-4-19. At least the seller is honoring their warranty. They promptly sent refund. Bumped it up to two stars.

After a bit of use the lights flicker and or less stop working
I’ve had these for a long while and all of my bulbs from this are no longer able to be used and I have one that I just put in that I didn’t use but I’m sure in a month or 2 it will go bad like the others but looks better then halogens while they work. Also these are directional so it matters which way you put it in which others I got aren’t which only matters when in an awkward locations.

4 out of 4 have Sections that are Flickering
4 out of 4 installed have sections that are Flickering after limited use. If they were reliable I would give them 4 or 5 stars. One of the main reasons for going to LED bulbs is longevity, especially in difficult to reach areas. The factory incandescent lamps lasted almost 20 years. These lasted less than a year.

Five Stars
Works better than expected and has been working without flicker or any other issues.Edit: I take what back my previous statement. Flickers periodically, occasionally, temperamental lights. Have tried replacing them with the extras that came in the kit and does the same thing on two different cars. Got Philips LEDs and the problem went away. Waste of money since I should have bought name brand quality bulbs first.

On second thought...
I am amending my review to say that although they may be bright, they DO NOT last. Since I have installed them, I have had to change out 5 of them since I have purchased them. they consist of multiple LED units, and it seems to be a constant that one of the LED's decides to start flickering which just isn't good. You do get what you pay for, and don't pay for these.

short life spam
After couple months, the LED chips start to degraded and make the flickering effect, did not last more than few months of use. I used them on my license plate for both cars and some interior lights, regular use, nothing extreme and low miles per year and did not last. Try different brand with better quality LED's..
