Unbelievable for the price!!! Installed in a regular cab truck. Had to turn it way down!! Too much bass for the small cab!! Will order another one once there back in stock!

Exactly what I was looking for! More than makes up for the lack of bass in my F150 factory setup. With the gain 2/3 of the way up its nice and clean. I listen to a wide variety of music and don't find myself trying to adjust settings all the time like noted on similar speakers. If you are trying to be obnoxious I would look elsewhere. I hope it lasts!

Anyone even remotely familiar with speaker design knows that putting a large woofer in a tiny enclosure is going to result in a really "peaky" frequency response curve. This means that the speaker will produce some frequencies much more efficiently than others. The whole point of these slim subwoofers is that they pair a small enclosure with active equalization that evens out the frequency response to produce a good overall sound and try to mask the limitations of the small enclosure.Unfortunately the designers of this particular unit seem to have completely skipped that whole equalization step. The response of this unit has a huge (and I mean HUGE) spike at about 80Hz. Sound output is essentially zero below 60Hz, and the higher frequencies taper off more gradually. The result is a very unsatisfying boomy sound and no real low frequency boost. I tried to equalize down the peak using the EQ on my head unit but even -24dB of equalization was not enough to flatten out the response.Essentially this unit is a small box, big driver, and a cheap amp. If there is any equalization at all, it is done completely wrong. The result is entirely inadequate. Very disappointing, this one will be going back.

Helped boost the sound

I got this because it had the wiring kit. Trust me get a wiring kit. This wiring ut comes with is a joke. Some Chinese thrown together crap. The casing us 8 guage, but the inside is more like 16 guage. So now I will have to order another wiring kit. It would be better off to buy a more reputable brand. Will update this when itz fixedDO NOT BUY THIS! Go ahead and buy some known company for products! Everything on this broke! I had to renig the dang thing. New wires! Poop broke! Amazing needs to ban this from being sold! 1st bad review I gave ever left!Also I told them to compensate me for this POS and they wouldnt! The sub its self isnt bad. Its everything else!☆☆update☆☆Broke it in. 20 hours so I turned I the game up. So dlfar so good! If you want window shaking base it will not do it. These subwoofers are absolutely amazing! They bang! I liked it so much I bought a second one, so I have two in my dodge challenger. They fit perfectly under the seats, and they absolutely slam! My first review was a negative review, and after I got it wired up correctly, I was super impressed, cannot find a better powered subwoofer under seat for this money! Absolutely love it
