Does the job I wanted it for, was the right length, the colour I preferred and was cheap.
Just what I wanted to keep step ladders secured to a shelf unit in my porch area. Inexpensive, easy to lock and quick to unlock with key. And got black which I would have chosen. Wouldn't risk it for a bike left on the street though

Perfekt gegen Waschbären
Ich benutze diese Schlösser, um Futterstationen für Wildvögel im Garten gegen den Raub durch Waschbären zu sichern. Einfach damit an einen dicken Ast "binden", fertig. Die Schlösser sind nicht nur ganz hübsch in den Farben und sehr gut verarbeitet, sondern ebenfalls sehr praktisch, um sie auch bei Kälte mit klammen Fingern zu schließen (ohne den Schlüssel erneut benutzen zu müssen) und zu öffnen. Ob sie Fahrraddiebe abhalten können, weiß ich nicht - gegen dreiste Futterdiebe helfen sie klasse!
