I was really wavering whether to purchase this clock based on some of the previous reviews stating that it wasn’t a silent clock. Well, it is! I’m very sensitive to noise - especially at night - to the point where I can not have my electric toothbrush charging at night because the humming keeps me awake (bonkers, I know). I can not hear this clock. I can not even hear it up close. If noise is your issue, you will purchase well here. Just make sure you get the right batteries. I suspect the reviewers who have had noise issues have opted to use standard batteries when you need carbon ones.This is also a really attractive clock.I’m very pleased!

Arrived promptly, packaged well. Although the outer frame is Plastic, it is finished well, and once hung on the wall you would never know the difference. it looks very stylish, good quality and a touch classy. I have the tower cookware range in Rose Gold, and this clock is the perfect match; the numerals are large and easy to read, and the clock is totally silent. Overall looks the part, and for the price I paid I am happy.

It's pretty, looks cheap close up, especially from the sides, but I put it in front of my desk, in the office, where it catches the sunlight. I love the roman numerals and soft colours. Haven't had it more than a couple of months so not sure re accuracy but kept time well so far and is SILENT. Love it.EDIT: Had it about 6 months now and battery going strong, still silent and keeping time well. No regrets :)

Bought this for a second bedroom, it’s a great size and the silent mechanism ensures my guests have an uninterrupted nights sleep.Only issue is that the silver numbers and hands cannot be seen in dim light against the white background, this was quickly fixed by removing the glass front and colouring them black with a permanent marker.Would be OK if you use this in a well lit room and had the lights on in the early morning, evening times.

Bought this my mum for Xmas for her sewing room, and she loves it. It’s nice and large and easy to read at a glance. It’s also silent so doesn’t annoy her when she’s pondering!

My 4 yr old daughter loves this as it has a traditional circular shape with easy to read numbers. Great to help indentify what colour coordinates to bedtime/ getting up time. Quiet clock which suits her. Can see it fitting into her bedroom decor as she grows, so represents good value.

Firstly, let me begin with this 12" wall clock looks up close & from a distance (when you can see it) nice and it is very very silent and a smooth second hand movement, not the tick tick tick movement.That is pretty much where the positives remain.In the light, natural day light or bulb light the reflection of the light on the dials and numbers cause reflection, therefore you will find over a period of time, the annoyance of having to move your head of even walk to a position in the room or out, to see the time well, visually.My Images will highlight the issues.It is very cheaply made, to the point it is cheap plastic and not made with any quality components. The rear hub of the clock that houses the battery and turning dial to change the time, swivels from side to side, which it should NOT do!Getting in the AA Duracell battery is also a nightmare. There is a plastic tab within the battery housing which does not allow you to put the battery in from the negative end first of battery, therefore you have to put the battery in from the positive end first. Now, getting out the battery you also have to remove from negative end and will cause that metal connection to be pulled up when removing the battery, over a period of time doing that, I can see that snapping. Normally, you'd use the spring load from negative end to prise the battery out, nope, with this you have to remove from negative end first which is a right pain.Also the hook part is about 5mm deep, could pose a problem dependent on the hook used, I can see this falling from many people's walls once hanging, not enough depth for the clock to stay hanging safely.All in all, if this clock was £5.00 it's worth the hassle and a punt, other than that, if you need a clock that is silent, this is very silent, in fact you can't hear anything from it, so that still could be a factor in purchasing this, but don't get one with reflective dials, the black and white clock might be the safest option but is dull, hence why i went for the Rose Gold one.This is going back as it's not acceptable and comes with too many hassles for a cheaply made but pricey clock.As my Mum says, fashion will kill you, lol, she's wise for a reason! :-)

Clocks arrived on time, we left it in box as it supposed to be a present for my son.. He was very happy for it, however I’m not pleased with the quality, the frame is discoloured - seems as the woodlike paint was erased on places and left smeared patches.. there is also small crack on the front side plastic.. as he is so excited, we had to hang it on the wall, but I would rather have it replaced, but never mind now...We might be just unlucky and those are only one of...Otherwise the clock is very nice, love the colourful numbers and hands, it’s big for the little one to read it and very quiet. It came with easy to fit hook which anybody can manage to assemble..I believe, if you lucky and get clocks without those “dents” you would love them!
