This nail polish dries super fast (the hardest part if cleaning up any drips ...
WATER-BASED NAIL POLISH!!! I am hyper-sensitive to smells (can't step in most makeup stores because the perfume sections give me migraines) and I have to literally jam the opening of this bottle in my nose to smell anything. Even then, it is the faintest smell of resin. I have a ton of "unscented" products that have more smell than this. This nail polish dries super fast (the hardest part if cleaning up any drips outside the lines before it dries), after an hour it is fine to wash your hands, take a long hot shower, whatever. And I use my nails and am hard on my hands. The best bit is if you want to take the polish off there's no smelly remover required! Get a nail file, orange stick (those wooden things nail salons use for cuticles, they're super cheap), or even your nail and poke at the edge like and peel the polish off like a sticker. Soaking your hands in hot water for several minutes will turn the polish gel-ish, but that's really pretty hard to take off. I haven't tried taking it off with alcohol wipes, that's supposed to work as well.'Pinky Mermaid' is more a lavender, a pinky purple, super sparkly glitter color. If you want glitter polish, this is it. If you want less shimmer, use this as the first color layer, then putting another color layer (or two) on top really works well. You can still get some of the shimmer, but less "I'm a fairy from an 80s children's movie here to attack you" vibe.

Not impressed - it's ok
I used two coats and you can still see right through it. :(It's not a bad polish, it's the color that (for what I paid) is lacking in minerals/opacity.(PHOTO: "Cuddle" base in two coats and "Pinky Mermaid" on top in two coats)I have ordered, and use often, a peel-off polish I found on ebay for a fraction of the price and I can't see through it with a second coat! The reason I wanted to try this brand is because they have non-traditional colors. After returning "Cuddle" and debating this one, I'm actuall starting to wonder if Little Ondine even makes an opaque polish. :/

The BEST Non-Toxic Nail Polish Company On The Market!
Little Ondine's polishes are odor free, non-toxic, and peel very easily; 5 stars for creating nail polish that everyone can safely use! The polish stays on, too, which is a first for me for peel-off polishes! I was however disappointed with this color and give it 4 stars. It is dull, not glossy as pictured. You need a glossy top coat to get the look in the photo, and I do have Little Ondine's, which I love, but if you don't, it won't look the same. The purple is matte with some glitter in it, but it's not shimmery or shiny, and not as dark as pictured, either. Glad they offer (some) of their products on Amazon Prime with free returns, hope they will add more colors. You never know for certain what a polish color purchased online will look like in person, appreciate being able to try and return as needed. Will definitely buy from them again, very impressed that their polishes are chemical-free and odor-free, and the quality and performance of their products is outstanding! Highly recommend this brand!

Excellent color and quality!
The color is exactly what I was looking for. A sheer lilac with gold shimmer - NOT glitter! And it's a subtle color on pale skin, not flashy, but will work on multiple skin tones for multiple occasions, with many outfits, in my opinion. One coat is enough to reflect enough light to cover imperfections on your nails so that they look beautiful by themselves, multiple coats makes the color slightly bolder and a little more noticeable and sparkly, but still subtle enough that it's not really a "statement" polish, which is perfect for me. I wore it to work out (I do a lot of weight lifting, actually) and it didn't chip throughout a pretty intense workout and the hot shower afterwards, so this polish gets a big thumbs up from me! This was a blind purchase I made on a whim, and I got lucky. I do recommend this color and brand!

Very pretty, dries fast, has no odor
Just received this today and applied it about an hour ago, so of course, I don't yet know how long it will last. But wanted to say that I love the fact that it has no odor, seems non-toxic and dries fast. The Pinky Mermaid color is beautiful. It is very sheer, so if you are looking for more opacity, then you'll want to paint an opaque color on first and then paint the pinky mermaid color over it, to give your nails the pretty iridescent sheen. It looks good all by itself, too, and I had to add at least 3 coats to get the amount of color I wanted. I did a basecoat first, then 3 layers of the Pinky Mermaid, then two coats of topcoat for durability. I'm very happy so far, especially with how non-toxic it seems.

Stays on! Peels off- no need for remover
I love this nail polish! It does exactly what it says it will do- coats evenly, looks great, no smell and peels off after weeks of wear. I only painted my toenails, but I peeled it off after 3 weeks just because my nails were growing and I wanted a fresh application-they still looked great though! I will be buying more for sure.

So far I love it! But I can’t get it to stay on!
So far I love it. I just applied three coats. I’m disabled and going for manicures is not possible. I’m praying this lasts a few days at least. So far I’m very happy with the color- Pinky Mermaid. And that is has no smell. It’s so fun too. I’ve never seen a shade like this before.EDIT: I have no idea what everyone else is doing but this polish peels right off way too easily. I bought the base and top coat and it didn’t keep it on. Please someone tell me what I’m doing wrong :(

Beautiful color.
Beautiful color. Easy to apply. Literally dries in seconds. I really like the color and how fast it dried. I did buy the top coat as well. It was a learning getting it to stay on. Let each coat dry well and dont soak your hands in water. Polish does peel right off when taking off. It does not damage your nails. Shortly after purchasing this item, the company sent me an email saying they were closing so dont get too attached.
