This book provides a great deal of very useful and valuable information about the M6TTL specifically and about Leica M rangefinder cameras in general. The detailed discussion, for example, of how and why the Leica rangefinder is so accurate is very revealing, deriving the effective base length of SLR's with different focal length lenses and comparing that to the M6 focusing system. Up through 90mm the M6 has a big advantage, and for wideangle lenses, the M6's advantage is enormous. It explains one of the reasons Leicas focus so much more reliably than SLR's do. There are other reasons that he goes into as well. This book is well written, interesting, and very useful.

If you actually own a Leica M6-TTL and READ this book cover to cover you will find a wealth of very interesting ideas on how to use this unique Leica.I think if you are a NEW Leica M6 User this book is a must.

If you're interested in buying the M6TTL, take a look at the printed material Leica provides and skip this book. What little information is provided is couched in pre-WWI terms and seems to be aimed at the reader who suffers from buyer's remorse.If you've already bought the M6, you're already aware of what a terrific camera you have. You don't need this book to tell you that again.
