Really impressed with these. Bought two to expand my system from a Wiim Ultra driving an old Bose Wave Radio. The Ultra's EQ breathed new life into the Wave and the EQ on these A10's is fantastic too. Group playback works well for music and TV. Wiim have added Dolby 5.1 decode and these work fantastic as surrounds. No delay or lipsync issues at all. I replaced some Google Nest Audios and the sound quality on these is miles better. Wiim seem to be adding firmware features quickly and they are responsive to their users.

This seems to be a pretty great speaker, not perfect, but better than most other similar multi-room wifi speakers. Sound quality is excellent in the mids and highs; low frequencies could be better but the overall clarity is great. The app allows for a lot of control and functionality, including room correction and nice EQ. Nice that it can be used with streaming over wifi or bluetooth, and it also has an Aux line-in. Impressed by this brand overall.

Well I wasn't sure how this speaker would perform since it literally was just released but thought I would give it a shot. It arrived yesterday and was packaged perfectly. I unboxed the speaker and quickly noticed that it was larger than I anticipated and also had a nice weight to it. I plugged it in and quickly opened up the WIIM app. The speaker was recognized immediately and the setup began on the app. It took about 3-4 minutes for the wifi connect and updates and then it was ready to go.It sounded very good and had a nice full sound that was much better than any of the echos that we have. I tried several different types of music via Spotify and they all sounded great. I then linked the speaker up with my two other WIIMs (mini and pro) and they all played flawlessly.We have only had this for a day but so far the speaker has surpassed my expectations. For people that have limitations on space in certain rooms this appears to be a great option.

There's a LOT to like about these speakers: the design is attractive; it can connect to streaming services via Wi-Fi, or to your phone via Bluetooth; there are control buttons on top so that you can change the volume, the input source, pause or continue a music stream, etc., with a touch of your finger rather than by always having to use your phone as a remote control device (though you can do that too if you want to). The speaker even has an line-in input port that accepts a stereo mini-plug, so that you can connect a legacy receiver (or other audio device), allowing you to use the speaker to listen to records or CDs that you own and that aren't available on your preferred streaming service.Trouble is—and this is the reason that I ended up returning the speaker a few days after I got it—the sound quality isn't very good! To my ears (and I'm a former sound editor who worked on dozens of feature films), the sound was "muddy," as if I were listening to music being played on the other side of a wall. Good lows, good high end, but not much definition and clarity in the upper-middle range.The speaker can supposedly optimize its sound to reflect your room's acoustics, but the way it does that is by having you point the microphone of your cell phone towards the speaker from your preferred seating position in the room. The speaker then plays a series of pitches that get analyzed by the WiiM app on your phone. That sounds great in theory, but it's totally dependent on the quality of your phone's built-in microphone, and on my cell phone, at least —a mid-range Samsung Galaxy model—the results weren't very good. I tried again after plugging a high-quality mic into my phone, but that didn't help any because even though my phone recognized that the mic was plugged in, the WiiM app didn't, so it continued to use my phone's built-in mic as its source, ignoring the external mic altogether.It may be that using an iPhone or higher-end Android phone for the room optimization would yield better results, but all I have to go on are the results that *I* got, which weren't very good. As a result, I can't recommend this speaker as highly as I hoped I'd be able to. Your mileage may vary though, as your tastes in audio characteristics may be different from mine.

Very good sound for a small device. It supports a wide variety of wireless protocols. I use ApirPlay 2, and it works well with that. I position in different locations in my living room depending on where I plan to sit while listening to music. It is easy to move. It does a great job filling in the overall audio reproduction provided to two pairs of other AirPlay speakers.

Editing my review, the 5.1 sounds ok once the volume is manually dialed in with the front speakers. Too loud or too quiet and everything sounds off. Need a software solution to correctly sync volumes automatically.

This is a dedicated speaker for the wiim set up. Sound is good and it will not disappoint
