Yes, it covers the grill, which is mostly why I ordered it. But, the hooks on the back , to act as a windbreak from the back, don’t work at all because the grease bin sticks out in back! Had I ordered the grill first, I would have realized this, but I ordered them at the same time, so….. anyway, it fits, and isn’t level (leans towards the front) which helps the soft cover shed the rain, so hopefully all is good. I will update if I have more issues.

Durability good for the money

The 2nd one was a charmer: I love the look of the shiny metal, can't be beat. It would have been a 5 star except for one small problem. The first one arrived with a blemish on the front and several minor dents but the biggest problem on this first cover was the length. It was not a full 38" and it didn't fit over the full length of my Blackstone grill. It was a little less than 1/4 inch too short. I thought that it might just be a defective unit since they say it is 38" in the ad. They were very easy to deal with on getting a return and I bought another one. The 2nd cover arrived with one minor dent on the corner but as others have noted in their reviews, a wooden block and a mallet was able to straighten it out completely. It fit perfectly and I am very happy with it. It would have been a 5 star if the manufacturer would listen to the reviewers and package the unit better with protection for the outside edges which are susceptible to dent in transit without protection but other than that, I would recommend this unit for it's awesome appearance and great price. I would buy it again as it is nice looking and does the trick.

We just purchased a 36" blackstone griddle and this was a nice addition to our purchase. For being aluminum - it's fairly weighty. I am hoping that it doesn't rust (being aluminum) and lasts for as long as we own our grill. Time will tell. Having said all of that, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Like the Sturdiness & Fit.

This is a nice addition to my flat top. Keeps the fabric cover from collecting water.I can also use the space as an added work surface too. The aluminum is a bit on the thin side so dont bang it into anything. The first one I received came dented already but return was simple and fast.Unfortunately I found the exact same product at about $20-25 less (also on Amazon) after I bought this.

Bought this for my Blackstone 36" griddle with rear grease management system. Amazon ad says it doesn't fit. Other reviewers say it does, so I bought it hoping it would fit. It does, but it took a very slight bit of modification to get it to fit completely down over the griddle surface. I took a rubber mallet and opened up the front lip to allow it to completely fit down over the griddle top. The cover does fit over the rear grease cup, though the grease cup makes the cover lean slightly out over the griddle surface. I expect I'll be cleaning the underside of the cover after each griddle use as grease will no doubt spatter up onto the inside of the cover which overhangs the griddle by about 8". But I am pleased with the top and believe it will work well with my griddle.
