EVERY character in this book is EXTRAORDINARY.
Once again Jodi Thomas has told a captivating story with charm, finesse, wit, and intrigue. I love how the story unfolds and how each person contributes to the overall uniqueness of the events that shape the characters actions. Love comes slowly in this romance that fills your heart with wonder and wishful thinking. I love how Jodi sets up each character on their own and then sets them together to blend so true to real life. Her Cowboys are a dream come true and you will wish it was you in the story. You cry, wonder, worry, and cheer for all the characters and along the way you fall in love with each one....some more than others. Having had the pleasure of meeting this outstanding author in person and listening to her tell her story of how she loves to write and how hard she works to achieve the best for us to read you can feel the love she has for the land and characters in each book she writes and shares with her readers....Indigo Lake: A Small-Town Texas Cowboy Romance Winter's Camp (Ransom Canyon)

The missing Hamilton heir returns...
I started reading Jodi Thomas when she did the Harmony Series, I've been a fan ever since.Indigo Lake is part of her Ransom Canyon Series -#6. Taken by themselves, they are good reads but when they are part of a series, you get to know the characters and they become friends, at least that's the way I feel. While some of the characters are well off, most are just regular small town people who know and help each other whenever possible and of course everyone knows everyone else's story, so there's a lot going on in a small town environment. When Blake Hamilton inherits a home from a father he knew nothing about, he decides to see what's up, arriving in Indigo Lake on his Harley, he sees a dilapidated ranch on deserted land but thinks he might be able to fix it up to sell. When he meets his neighbor Dakota Davis he thinks this may be a more interesting town than he thought.Another whimsical romance from the pen of Jodi Thomas. Definitely worth diving into

Well written and interesting. Characters you felt like you knew, making mistakes and plans and questioning themselves like we would. Good story!

A Crossroads
Jodi Thomas has gifted her readers of this series a memorable journey to Crossroads Texas and tied a pretty bow within Indigo Lake. There are lovable unforgettable characters, laughter and heart twists, suspense, mystery, legends and current events that culminate in a way as only Jodi Thomas can do. I loved it all. Whether you read as a standalone or the entire series, you don't want to miss a visit to Crossroads Texas. The audible version is well done and easy to listen to.

Another wonderful Thomas story plus a two for the price of one included!
Bestselling author, Jodi Thomas, puts out another emotional, heartwarming "Ransom Canyon" story. "Indigo Lake" brings together two divided families by way of Harley-riding, Blake Hamilton, who never heard of Crossroads, Texas; and, Dakota Davis. Then there's Lauren Brigman, who we've grown up with. She's never happy unless she's in Crossroads. And, if "Indigo Lake" isn't enough, Miss Thomas adds "Winter's Camp" as a short story set in the last quarter of the 1800's in Ransom Canyon. The story of the Kirkland family is fascinating. We all love a two for the price of one. I highly recommend, "Indigo Lake"!
