It'll do.
Dont know how durable they will be, they feel durable but....hard to get the mags in. The sides if the mag holder is just nylon so it bunches up when you try to put the magazine in. You'll definitely have to be in a stopped position to put the mags back inside the holster. You'll probably need both hands. Also theres alot of retention, these mags aren't going anywhere. No need for the extra retention on top, I'm gonna get rid of that.

Tough to get a mag in and out
As made, it's difficult to get a mag in and out of the pouch. The bungee cords on top are not necessary, as the ones on the side can be tightened and hold securely. But even without the top bungee cords, it's still difficult to get the mag back in if you are trying to do a tactical reload and retain a partial mag. The pistol mags are slightly easier and you can always just throw a partial pistol mag in a pocket.I bought these because they are the shorter mag pouches and I have four Haley Strategic MP² Magazine Pouch Inserts that fit perfectly. And as a result, these mage pouches work well with the Haley inserts. Take off the top bungee cords and mags are held securely with the Haley inserts and it's easy to get the mags in and out.The problem is that if you don't already have the Haley inserts, you'll spend more making these work than if you had bought the High Speed Gear or IDOGEAR mag pouches to start with. I have several High Speed Gear TACO MOLLE Mag Pouches and they are my go to pouches.

Great mag pouches
I love these Mag pouches! They have great retention that is easy to adjust, the material is thick and durable. There are two issues I have that I had to take a star away for :(.... are the mole straps, they have no rigid insert for weaving on gear. So it is a pain to get them pushed through the webbing and on the gear. The second thing is the sides of the pouches, they also have no rigid insert and they can get caught or buckle when putting mags into them. Over all I really like these double mag pouches! One caveat is they were not offering the other colors in upgraded or the 2 packs when I got these, I wanted the brown ones that would match my hear more than the black...

fits 74 mags fine, but needs a bit of finishing touches
constructed about as well as I expected for under 10 bucks, needed some extra stitching at the end seams only took a few minutes. side "plates" (where an hsgi taco would be plastic) are not rigid at all, so inserting ak mags can be tricky, you are not refresing this pocket on the clockbungee retention thing came adjusted laughably short, I switched it over to the pistol section because there is nothing keeping a pistol mag from flopping out, even tightened as much as possible, ill probably squirt some silicone caulk alone the side somewhere for some retention friction and nix the shock cord thing entirelyall that said, I needed something to hold a 74 mag to a belt and not suck or cost more than a p-mag, this taquito worked

AR/AK mag pouch works, BUT pistol mags? THEY FALL
These are great if you want only just AR/AK mag pouch. However, if you plan on putting in pistol mags, then good luck. I tried to modify it by placing the pistol mags with and without the rifle mags, but still no success. The only sort of solution *not really* but forcing the side of the pistol mag material to stack with the front part of the pistol side of the mag and therefore it would fit "snug" and when I mean snug, it'll still fall out.My whole thing is security and retention with these pouches. Cheap or expensive, if they don't have any retention over mags when you run, move fast, or do some movements to not make them fall out.3 stars for this, I would definitely purchase this again IF they added a pistol retainer on top to keep the pistol from flying out of the pouch.

Got what I paid for but....
Bought these to supplement the front "kangaroo pouch" magazine carrier I have on my plate carrier. I'm using an AR500 Testudo Gen2 and found these to be SERIOUSLY difficult to install. I've installed quiet a few different molle style attachments on different systems, and this was the worst of the batch. The pouches have no stiffness to them, so they just curl up when you try to weave them to the webbing. The elastic bands take up space inside the webbing and make it even more difficult to get them installed. One positive, once installed, they are definitely not going anywhere. They also seem like they will be fairly durable and able to take a fair amount of training / usage. My only other concern is that, putting a magazine in them, was difficult to say the least. The elastic strap that goes around them is doubled over the top and you HAVE to use two hands to put a magazine into the rifle pouch. The pistol pouch is MUCH better, stiff, but will keep the magazine in place well I believe. Drawing a magazine is definitely not going to be a problem, as long as I don't use the elastic bands. They seem to have good retention, but replacing a magazine is going to be next to impossible.

Exactly what i wanted
I really like these pouches. They fit my waffle ak mags great. The magazines come out easily and just take a bit of wiggling to get back in. These are way better than I expected them to be for the price.

Sturdy, but not great protection for pistol mag
I attached this to my "Battle Belt" that I use for the range. I don't really use it in a tactical or patrol environment. It's just for convenience at the range. With that said, I still was constantly afraid my 9mm clip would fall out from bending over and moving around. It DID fall out when the belt was inverted when I placed it on the floor of my vehicle, so my fear is not without basis. If you need this for running and gunning, or work in a tactical environment, I would opt for something that holds your pistol mags more securely. My Pmags were fine in the large pouch and easily removed when reloading.
