Kenriko Tesla Model 3 Matte Black Console Wrap Kit

There is NO BETTER UPGRADE you can make than this simple wrap!!!! Keeping the center console clean and scratch free is nearly impossible. As you can see by my pictures, even right after cleaning, the center console appears dusty. This sticker was easy to install, with a very informative install video. I was able to do it on first try, within about 45 minutes. I could have done it quicker, but was following the video step-by step to make sure everything was good. I highly recommend the matte black, it looks great! Thanks Kenriko for making these- I hope you get some more great products out soon!

Make sure to watch the install video carefully. I did the cup holder section pretty well, but put the upper section down on the middle, before realizing my goof, pulling it back up, and then putting the correct piece down. The material is pretty forgiving; I ended up with a tiny gap along one edge, and a couple very very small ridges, those are on me vs the kit... I know from the cup section that I could have worked it more and gotten it perfect, but am happy enough with how it came out.If there was a kit version that came with 2 of everything, to allow a full redo for a bit more $, I would go with that... Even if I had two of everything I would have left down the job I did... I know next time I'll have it perfect instead of just really good. :)The video was a good introduction, and I know I'll have a even easier time on my next wrap project.When Kenriko releases a kit for the Model 3 window switch area and/or USB port panel in the back, I'll be picking it up without hesitation.

Just installed and it looks great. The matte black blends seamlessly with the rest of the Model 3 premium interior. I actually kind of liked the piano black original look, but after it got a few scratches I went ahead and got this wrap. I found this seller after a few of his posts on Reddit and he seemed like a guy worth supporting. The other guys known for these wraps, RPM Tesla, had gotten a bad rap (or wrap? *rimshot*) on the forums so I took a chance on Kenriko and I’m glad I did. Kit camewith everything you need and a little extra too.Install: it’s not easy but it’s not difficult either. It just takes time and patience. I have never done anything like this before, and I definitely did get flustered. However, the material is really forgiving and let’s you re-do your mistakes a lot. Finally I got it straight. Make sure to watch the video guide though, it’s a life saver. Took me at least an hour, so don’t be in a hurry.Durablity? No idea yet. If I have an issue I will update, but if there is no update assume things are great.Overall would recommend!

I rarely write reviews but was compelled to for this vender and product.I received the product in a timely fashion. Everything was laid out and very easy to understand.I watched the install video prior to my attempt. I typically consider myself good with this type of tedious activity but my patience grew thin fast. After 30 minutes of installing a single piece (that I wasn't particularly happy with), I took a break.When I returned, I considered it likely the project was going to be a bust. So, I thought I'd try my own approach for the rest of the installation. Rather than pulling the material from the backing, placing it, and wrestling with it, trying to arrange and rearrange it to my liking, and then hoping to work the bubbles out, I did the following.1. I pulled the vinyl from the backing.2. I laid the vinyl back down on the backing but I let a 1/4" edge of the vinyl overhang the backing. Do not press the vinyl just let it sit, laid as flat and as natural as possible.This 1/4" overhang allows you to apply the first edge of the material with surgical precision and not have to contend with the backend stickiness of the vinyl. You just hold the backing material as you apply. When you're doing the tighter installations, you can even tear the excess backing away.3. After you (softly) get that perfect edge, slowly pull the backing away, while using your thumb to push the bubbles out just before the backing, before pulling the backing away more.Using this method, I was able to install all of the remaining pieces in 10 to 15 mins.I would highly suggest watching his video prior to installing. Even though I approached it differently, his video allows you to see how the material handles. He also gives a lot of good advice over all during the installation. My last suggestion, be careful using the plastic blades to smooth the material out. As he says in the video, using your thumb really is the best approach, if the edge of the blade catches a bubble it can leave a small divot or mark.If the vendor actually manufactures the way this item is backed, a future version where each piece has two backings might be helpful, The first piece, a 1/4" 'installation edge" and the second, "the remainder" would save a step, otherwise my approach is worth trying.

I wrapped my Model 3 center console with the Matte Black wrap. The difference was AMAZING! The car looks so more premium after getting rid of the piano black. The product it self is great and easy to install. Make sure you watch his tutorial youtube video before attempting. He really lays out exactly what you should do to make the install easy. It took me about 40 mins to install all 3 pieces. It also comes with an extra cup holder wrap in case you mess up! The price on this is how it should be, not over $100 like other places are!

If you can install a screen protector on your phone, you can install this wrap. watch the video, give yourself 1 hour to install, wash your hands well and clean the surfaces well. Make sure you have good lighting to see what you are doing. Takes a bit of work to get it right, but the material is very forgiving. Overall, good value.
