Jewel of the Sea (The Kraken) Paperback – April 2, 2018

I love the dynamic between Arkon and Aymee. He's very sweet and devoted. And Aymee, rare to the genre, is experienced and seizes her desires. They make a wonderful pair, and I enjoyed their bond. I'll probably end up buying a physical copy for my library. Easily one of my favorite seafolk novels, and could be read as a stand alone.We've had a bit more of an insight into Drachus so I'm now curious about his story. And it's looking like Rhea and Randall might be headed toward something.I wonder if the threat that was built up in this installment will be further developed in the coming novels. I hope so. I enjoy the world building.Also, side tangent: it's always funny to me that the characters portrayed on the art covers often don't match the descriptions. In this case, Arkon is quite leanamd graceful in comparison to Jax and Drachus, and yet he's got a bodybuilder bod that matches theirs on the cover art. Diversity in bodies, my artists, please and thank you.

This couple was set up so well in book one I was giddy to read their book.It's established in the first novel that the Kraken and Humans are so focused on survival, they don't see art as a priority. While they can nod and say 'that's nice' each society believes the time and effort could be better spent in other pursuits. Cue a human and kraken who love art coming together!With how nervous and tongue tied the MMC was, this was such a cute romance. Watching him come out of his shell and seeing her find a home for her restless soul. It was beyond adorable. I want so much more of this couple; I was devastated when their book ended.

Okay, so when I read the first book, Treasure, I thought "Tentacles? This is freaking awesome!!" I love real alien romance and can't get enough. It was the cover that originally drew me though (GORGEOUS, and so is this one- Bravo!!). I was hooked with Jax & Macy's story, chomping at the bit for another. Thrilled they made it into a series.Tiffany & Rob did not disappoint with Book 2. Arkon was so sweet and endearing (though he definitely has his alpha moments) and of course Aymee was just perfect for him. They tease us mercilessly, but then, it's all about the foreplay- am I right? ;) Totally worth the wait.And the imagery!! Honestly, some of the best I've read. The pictures they paint with words are just beautiful and it pulls you right in. As does the world building. The character development is excellent and it's hard not laugh with them, cry with them, get lost in their story.I also really appreciated the science fiction aspect and attention to detail in that regard, both in Halora's backstory and the unique characteristics of the Kraken race- how they look, move and communicate with color. Just another reason to love these books!! And did I mention they can taste with their tentacles? I'll let your imagination do the rest (hehe).Obsessively awaiting Dracchus's story (and Kronos?) Please, please. Love to see those bad boys turned ;) Keep em com'n you two!! <3

I couldn't finish the story.on.my Ipad. There was no.more print. Dissapointed, it was a good story.

This series truly is one-of-a-kind! I can't even put into words how wonderful this series is! Definitely a must read!

Aymee and Arkon are definitely my favorite couple!! So, far this series is amazing and I love the way the authors are incorporating a bigger storyline throughout the series while also developing each couples love journey. I am a little sad because I feel like I didn't get to as many wholesome moments between these two as I wanted. The moments I got were amazing but I feel like a lot of the beginning was them apart more than together which is understandable. When they got together they constantly thought about their arousals and it took away from character couple building. I still thought it was great thought and still excited for the next stories!!

I absolutely love this series so far. It's so different from all the other romances I'm used too! If your looking for something out there that gonna grab you and keep you turning the pages to see what the heck is gonna happen next... all The while your rooting for both sides and LOVE.

Continue to love the Kraken universe. 💜 This is book #2 and is has good as the first one. ✨I don’t know what is about Tiffany Roberts but every book that i have read is has good or more amazing than the other. Don’t think twice about this author. If She writes it IM GOING TO READ IT! ✨💜🩵

Complex and relatable characters (yes, the aquatic folk, too, and not just the main characters) makes this an engrossing read. A complex situation continues to develop as the backdrop of a sweet romance that absolutely refuses to be star crossed.I love a heroine with a good right hook and an unabashed sexual appetite - Aymee does not disappoint.Likewise a hero with nuance and a refreshing focus on shared interests (in addition to the usual shared passion) makes this a far from formulaic romance.Loving this series and particularly looking forward to the next one, which was signaled pretty clearly in the last quarter of this book (not gonna spoiler except to say that at least one female kraken is gong to play a role in this series - yay!).

Absolutely loved it! I've already read seven books by Tiffany Roberts and all of them are awesome.I really liked this story. Arkon is such a cute and interesting Kraken, so different from the others that he thinks he may never have what Macy and his best friend have. Until he meets Aymee.More adventures, more and new characters, more story development and details we didn’t know that are finding out about the human and the Kraken world that enrich that story.Really loved Randall. He's a good man with a good heart and open minded. I'll enjoy to know more about him in the next books.

Another fantastic read that will transport you to the deep sea. We have been introduced to both Aymee and Arkon in the previous book and I couldn't wait to read their story! This was my favourite so far on this series. Amazing plot and the world build is fantastic. Very entertaining from the very first page. Packet with action, adventure and red hot steamy romance. Highly recommend
