MUCH better than the old Nikon adapter.
No fringing, CA or other bad behavior. Light. Angle eases use. I'm selling both of my Nikon scope adapters- they're not nearly as good. Worked perfectly on my 400mm manual focus as well as my 200mm prime (makes for a great portable general purpose spotting scope).

Creative use of lenses you alteady have
It is cool to be able to use your lenses for additional purposes. I love the way it works with my Nikkor 500mm mirror lens. On a tripod that is. Land or celestrial, its really cool.
