SEED - Bible Study Book 1 (Seed, 1)

This study is unlike a lot of the other studies in that in this study Priscilla gives you a recipe for studying scripture using a specific formula known as the 5 P's (position, pore and paraphrase, pull, pose, purpose and pin). I am currently doing this study with a group which includes a dvd (don't have to have the dvd to do the study)as well as discussion questions which are located at the back of the book. The nice part about this study is that each week you are given a bunch of different scriptures relating to the topic of the week and you are encouraged to implement the 5P's to these scriptures on your own, as an effort to increase your understanding of these passages. For anyone who is wanting to spend time alone with God, learning and understanding His word, this study is a good one. Priscilla explains everything in detail while giving specific examples of how to proceed with the formula, which is very helpful.

I honestly love how intentional this book is.

Both Seed Pack 1 and 2 offer an opportunity to truly read scripture references on a topic with a discerning eye. The topics require you to think - this bible study will be unlike others where thoughts and perspectives are offered up for consideration. Here you'll be asked for think for yourself, dig deeper into what Good is saying and press into Him to extract the kernels of truth. Interesting to do on your own or with a group.

Seeds Pack is a great study although not like other works of this nature. It is challenging each morning to paraphrase and find application to a short passage. Most of us like more meat, but this is a good way to begin learning to understand scripture better. The download videos are a bit short for the price and shouldn't be the same price as other videos. That is why I gave it 3 stars; I believe it could be much better. I probably won't purchase other studies of this nature but I have profited from the study, and for those on-the-go, it may fit the need perfectly.

Our bible study decided not to meet for some reason and so I sent it all back. I think it would have been a good book.

Very good study! It's all about digging into the scripture verses and allowing God yo speak to you personnaly.
