First people need to understand this is not a switch, it's impossible to have internet split between multiple devices without an actual switch in the mix, this device is made to have multiple devices hooked up where a switch is not available and only one is going to work at a time, so long a you understand this the hardware is extremely high quality and works as advertised.

Free router Ethernet ports for less frequently used devices.
Sturdy and functional Ethernet splitter that frees up my WiFi router's Ethernet ports, which only has 4 of them. Hooked up my Roku and a couple of Raspberry Pi, so that I never have to go to the back of my router to disconnect the cable to switch devices. If I want to switch from my Roku to my Retropie, all I have to do is turn off the one I'm not using and then turn on the device I want to use. Excellent Ethernet splitter that simplifies my life just a little bit.
