My son is 2.5 yrs and 31 lbs. His previous "swimming" was wearing a toddler vest and holding on to dad (me) with a death grip. He likes water, but had confidence issues. Anytime he was let go, he would panic and tip over. Tonight, we received the puddle jumper and gave it a go right away. With it, he felt confident to start kicking his legs as we have taught him and within 30 minutes was pushing us away so he could experiment on his own. Within 45 minutes he was paddling and kicking from one end of the pool to the other! Thank you so much.
