Chill Reflex Rolled Camp Pad

I was on a rocky riverbank and this pad didnt do very well. However I did put it in the bottom of my grand trunk hammock and it was fantastic. It does not inflate, just foam. But i do like the carrying straps...and not too bulky. Overall it served it's purpose for what it is. My husband had a true blow up inflating camp pad that was 2 inches thick and it was WONDERFUL...never touched a rock the whole night. However he paid over $90 for it so that's not really comparing apples to apples. I recommend that type pad over this one if you have the funds...unless you are just laying in grass or dirt.

You need a hammock pad, here you go. Will go on the ground as well as not damaging the Hammock. Comfortable. Sweaty insulate. On the ground it's nice, but for big guys like me, cover it so you don't end up all dirty.It'll get a little dirty in the folds, with body moisture it will stick. but don't worry, just use a sheet against it. Don't sleep directly on it, it'll sweat you.

Just a piece of foam rubber so it is only slightly better than sleeping on the ground. The item description says it is self-inflating which is not true. The straps which keep it bound in a roll when not in use are pretty neat so I gave it a star for that.

Works well for winter camping between the air pad and me. Used at 25 degrees and was warm all night. Good solid product for the price.
