Onoola 40oz Pocket Carrier for Hydro Flask Type Bottles with Adjustable Straps (Neoprene Sleeve/Pouch)

I was considering another similar product at more than double the price. I decided to check Amazon and as usual I was not disappointed, the perfect solution was discovered. This product was not only significantly less expensive but I greatly prefer it's overall appearance and design.Pros:1. The unit is just well constructed and feels like a high quality product worth of protecting my 40 ounce Hydro Flask.2. The built in pocket is surprisingly handy. I can slip a granola bar in there and have a snack along with as much cold water as I would like.3. The adjustable should strap has come in very handy in several ways. Of course I use it to carry my Hydro Flask around. But I also use it as an anchor mechanism in the car so the Hydro Flask stays upright at all times. I shortened the strap to a perfect length where I can slip it over a fixed point in my car and the Hydro Flask stands upright 100% of the time regardless of which maneuver I am making in the car.4. I was expecting a strong neoprene smell and really it's very minor to non-ecistant unless I put my nose directly on the material.5. My 40 ounce Hydro Flask fit in the carrier perfectly. It's easy to slip in but definitely will not fall off unless I intentionally remove it.There are no cons.I highly recommend this product without reservation!

My story. I always carry several fairly healthy somethings to drink and have dropped, dented, scuffed & cracked and broken so many, I was beginning to think I was cursed(just kidding.) I received my 40 oz HydroFlask as a gift and it quickly became my favorite~then I dropped it, a time or two-small little ding in the bottom, still worked great but I kept dropping it or almost dropping it because I had too many things in my hands trying to carry it. I saw this Onoola carrier and thought it would be perfect for me, as well as my friend who also bought a HydroFlask for himself. I received one in the mail and thought it was perfect! My friend, who was going to get one as a Christmas gift, teased me about my purchase, so I didn't get him one. I love this carrier. It appears to be made well, it makes carrying all my "stuff" so much easier, and cushions the fall if I drop it(although I haven't dropped it once since I began using it. Now, 5 months later he wanted one. I told him the above story and he didn't remember scoffing at my bottle carrier. I ordered this one for him. He loves it and 6 months later, the quality appears consistent. My first one still looks perfect, I use it everyday and at night on the nightstand. It washes well and also fits my 40 oz Takeya ThermoFlask perfectly. I will most likely purchase another carrier for that one so I don't have to switch them out.The zipper compartment is a bit small for the huge phones people carry these days, especially with the bulky cases. My iPhone 6 w/LifeProof case(necessary for me not to destroy the phone) will not fit in the carrier, but the carrier is not a substitute for my purse. Lip balm, keys, ID, cash and credit cards have plenty of room & my camera fits in it also.I read many reviews of this and other bottle carriers and the complaints so I'll address those in relation to this one. There is no smell, the clips are plastic but seem very sturdy(good for the price) and I've had no problem with the zipper. The carrier doesn't enclose or engulf the bottle, but I don't want it to. It is a snug fit but not too smug, even after daily use and periodic washing(I take the bottle out every day and wash it.

Fits both my 40oz and 32oz hydro flask. Comfortable to take on my long exercise walks (often over a couple of hours). I like the pocket, as the pocket in my compression shorts doesn't hold much, and is not terribly secure. I throw money, ID and my inhaler in there with room to spare. Would also fit my phone if I wished, but I prefer to carry it in my hand -- ok, I'll admit it: so I can play pokemon go on my walk. Oh, the shame! :)It has some padding on the shoulder strap. I wouldn't mind a smidgeon more padding, but it seems to be sufficient. I haven't had trouble with the plastic hooks and I prefer the lighter weight, to be honest. Shoulder strap has lots of adjustability to wear over the shoulder or cross-body.

This product fits my 40oz. Hydro Flask ALMOST perfectly; the top portion isn't quite as super snug as I'd hoped it would be, but it has still functioned very well.It has been carried for about a week primarily with the small handle strap, and the large hiking strap has been used twice and is the most functional and favorite. The lack of snugness doesn't really pose a problem until the flask is empty, at which point I have felt a risk of the bottle sliding out which is kind of unsettling. I think this would boil down to personal preference; I've read on similar products that their bottle's carrier was TOO snug, and I might have preferred that over this one.I will state that the small strap's hand cushion has already begun to fray and peel away from the main nylon portion of the strap, so it's not super durable and will probably wear out within the first year of use. Not a big deal, as the nylon core's still holding strong.The carrying pouch has also served my needs very well, as I can store my car's keyfob in it and ditch the rest of my keys in the car when out on hikes and long walks. It fits small phones (see: Samsung Galaxy S series or iPhone) very well, but does not fit phones with screen sizes more than 5" (see: Droid Turbo 2) so it's useful.Overall I'm pretty pleased with this product for its functionality in freeing my hands up during hikes, though if you would prefer something with an absolute snugness I would look elsewhere.
