Good pad for the money, but not built to last
For the price, this seems like a decent sleeping pad.Operation: Inflation time is not (as the description claims) "quick" as it took about an hour for it to fully inflate the first time out. I haven't tried rolling it back up yet, so I can't comment on the rapidity of deflation or ability to get it into the included stuff sack. I did notice that the repair kit doesn't appear to have been included.Comfort: When I first unrolled, it immediately inflated to just over 1" thick and was just OK (testing on a carpeted floor). Later, when it reached closer to its claimed 2" thickness, it was much more comfortable. The real test will be in about a month when I try it out on a scout camping trip. I'm hoping between this and a new, warmer bag, I'll sleep much better than I did on the same trip last Fall.UPDATE: About 5 years in, both sleeping pads developed leaks around the valve housing. So, the valve itself still seals fine, but there is air leaking between the (football-shaped) valve body and the vinyl/polyester "skin" of the pad. I'm trying to find an appropriate glue to properly seal that connection. For the price I paid (~$40 in 2014), and the amount of usage I've gotten (probably 80-90 nights on each of them), I'm not too upset. I'm somewhat impressed that they've never gotten any leaks anywhere else.

Worth every penny!
This pad arrived very flat, and after an hour of letting it sit it did not perk up on its own. I decided to blow it up and it was quite difficult, but once I forced air into it the pad now inflates on its own very nicely. I'm not taking off any stars for the trouble I had inflating it because I believe that is actually normal for self-inflating pads.I have both the half inch blue foam sleeping pads, and one-inch thick self-inflating pads. The difference the extra inch of this pad makes is night and day. It is SO much more comfortable than either option I've tried.Definitely a good bargain!

only lasted 4 months
We've been using self-inflating mats on a hard bed for years. This was a great size and seemed fine till it started losing air- never had one "go" so quick.

Great product heavy cover
Great product heavy cover. If you plan on using it for backpacking it is a little on the heavy side and does not fold in half. So if space and weight are a concern this is not what you are looking for. As for comfort it is great really thick pad and heavy cover couldn't feel rock about 1" in diameter.

Leaks
I’ve used this camping pad less than 5 times since I bought it and it can’t be sealed. Every time I decompress it and try to seal, it won’t stay decompressed. It keeps leaking air back in. Also, the bag it goes in came unstitched so I had to sew it back up to hold the pad from expanding again.

Great Self-inflating Mattress
Very light weight for its size. Rolls up relatively small and it sleeps very comfortably. I recommend it for car camping or backpacking.

This matt is very useful. I wouldn't say it's life-changing or "easily the best deal", but it's easy to inflate/deflate/wrap up and does the job.

Two Stars
selfinflating? barely. it's more difficult to pack than a manual inflatable is to inflate.
