It's sort of salty tasting and not like traditional toothpaste but obviously this isn't normal toothpaste so don't expect it to be the same. -I found it easy to use and travel with. Never had any issues with it leaking in my bag. -The consistency got a little dry/clumpy towards the end but I just added a little bit of water and that seemed to do the trick. -As just one person using a moderate amount twice a day it lasted me 2.5 months. So after the math it is a little pricey compared to normal toothpaste but your paying for the sustainability and natural product. Overall I liked it and would recommend it as a great sustainable alternative! The only reason I'm not repurchasing at this time is because I personally need a toothpaste with fluoride in it right now but will likely get this again in the future! Initially, I felt it was a bit too runny, but the more I stirred it, the consistency was where I needed it to be.
