Where's 10 stars when you need them?
Christine Warren is one of my favorite authors (even though I have only just found her books). I love this book in particular because really who doesn't love a sneaky Imp who loves Root Beer?. As always Christine manages to mix a strong independent heroines with sexy alpha hero and come up with a HEA. Of course along the way the lead characters have to get past major pit fulls you know the normal:- Danger at every corner, not loving mothers, secrets revealed and oh yeah the whole inter-species dating thing. Please read, you won't regret it pinky swear!Oh yeah here is the correct reading order of Christine's others series. One Bite with a Stranger (Fantasy Fix)Big, Bad Wolf (Fur Factor)Prince Charming Doesn't Live Here (Faer Fetched)Black Magic WomanNot your ordinary faerie (Fighting Faer)On the ProwlDrive me wild (Fur For All)Hungry like a wolf (Fur Play)Wolf at the DoorShe’s No Faerie PrincessThe Demon You KnowHowl at the MoonWalk on the Wild SideYou’re So VeinBorn to be Wild

Hmmm...
Unfortunately for me, I already have my favourite characters in this series and although this is another great installment I almost felt as if some of the lines had been written already, said already in earlier books. There's nothing entirely new about this book although the storyline flies by and the chemistry between characters is most definitely there. Is this just because Warren is using the tried and true formula? I'm pretty sure it is.It's a good story, the characters are likeable but it's not ground breaking.

series run out of steam
This book is poor compared to the rest in the series. It really feels as though the writer has run out of steam. Although I loved the other books in the series I won't be buying any more. Christine Warren needs to dream up a new world and characters to write about now.

Prince charming
Romance, passion, love, steamy sessions, Fairies and supernatural magic, what is not to like with this author. Read them all.

LIGHT ROMANTIC FANTASY...
When hotshot, up and coming, white-glove law firm lawyer, Danice Carter, is summoned by one of the firm's founding partners for a special assignment of a personal nature, having to do with the partner's granddaughter, Rosemary, she realizes it is sink or swim in a dog-eat-dog world. Little does she know that she would butt heads with Private Investigator McIntyre Callahan, who has also been commissioned to find the very same Rosemary, no matter what the cost. When Callahan tells Danice what he thinks would be unthinkable, that there is another world out their in which those known as the Others live, and that he himself is half Fae, no one is more surprised than Mac by her response. Believing that Rosemary may be among the others, together they join forces to find her, no matter what the fates may bring. This is, at times, a funny, humorous book, but it is wholly plot driven with little attempt at character development. It is a quick, breezy, totally forgettable book for those who enjoy romantic fantasy served up light and will offer, at most, a modicum of enjoyment.

WORD OF WARNING.....
Danice Carter and McIntyre Callahan met and became lovers in the eBook Faer Fetched as part of the Fantasy Fix series Christine Warren released via Ellora Cave Publishng.Plus 80 pages of this book are synopsis of the other books in the series so far.Just wanted to let people know that before purchaseing the book. For warned is for armed-The ebook has just been buffed up here and there so it spans a whole book-The female lead Danice is a strong character(actually has a back bone-unlike regina-one bite with a stranger). The dialogue contains alot of humour like previouse books in the others series-There are a couple of sex scenes as readers of the series have come to expect.Liked the book but felt there was something missing-just hope black magic woman is better.
