but that's what Amazon tells me I did. I usually order the chocolate. I'm not a years-long consumer of whey protein powders, and can't really compare this one to any other ones on the market. But I have been listening to the Barbell Medicine guys since Rippetoe let Feigenbaum run the nutrition board on the Starting Strength forums and I trust them to give good advice concerning nutrition.The vanilla flavor has a slightly off taste (for vanilla), but the chocolate is excellent. So, three stars for the vanilla and five for the chocolate, for an average of four stars. To date, I haven't had any reason to defect to something less expensive.20190703 update:Well, I think I know how I ended up ordering vanilla. When I click through a previous order for "chocolate", this is the page I land on. The description mentions "cocoa", but the title is now "Barbell Medicine, Whey Protein Isolate Powder with BCAA, Jordan Feigenbaum, Non-GMO, GMP, Vanilla, 786 Gr..." There doesn't seem to be any way to order chocolate, either by search or a previous order. Perhaps whatever happened to cause this has happened before.

I bought this product because of its leucine content and short ingredient list: whey protein isolate, natural flavors, and stevia. I hestitated over the stevia because I don't usually like it, but read a review that said the stevia taste was "light" so I thought I would try it, especially since other whey isolates also use either artificial sweeteners or stevia plus lots of fillers.The product is creamy when mixed with milk or yogurt and the vanilla flavor is very nice.But for me, the stevia aftertaste lingers all day. I hope that some day Whey Rx will come in an unsweetened version. People would be free to add their own sweetener or none at all.

You definitely need to blend it with a banana or some fruit to make it taste good. I tried it with only coconut milk in a blender bottle and I could not drink it. Once blended with fruit, it’s great! It’s not too thick like some other vegan proteins, so I appreciate that. I’ll likely keep buying it because I like that it has a small list of ingredients.

I really like this protein due to the fact that it has minimal ingredients compared to all the other proteins on the market with a list about as long as a CVS receipt in the ingredients used for their product. The flavors not the best but it's better than some other proteins in comparison. it's good to know I'm getting what I need and not a bunch of other garbage added in. I follow barbell medicine on YouTube and that's how I found out about this brand. A protein designed and created by a doctor sounds good to me.

This is the best whey protein I've ever used. It mixes really well and easily in anything I've added it to so far. I mix it into Greek yogurt using just a spoon and it tastes like a chocolate parfait! I also mix it in with my unsweetened nut milk. Both ways are just delicious!Yes, there's a cost premium, but if you look at the ingredients and you know about the ingredients of other whey proteins, you'll see the premium is worth it.

I have both the vanilla and the chocolate, and I think both are delicious. I also don’t have any digestion issues like I have had with other whey proteins. It does take awhile to dissolve, however I am not using a shaker bottle or a blender, which would eliminate this issue ( just get crazy with a fork). Lots of BCAAs! Simple ingredients!

I have been buying the chocolate Whey Rx for a while now and I LOVED it. It wasn’t too sweet, it had 4 ingredients, and it was delicious. However, they changed their formula within the last month. It now has more ingredients and sucralose instead of stevia. It’s so sickly sweet and artificial tasting and there’s not even a hint of chocolate flavor because the sucralose overpowers it. Please bring back your old formula! It’s the only protein I like!!!

Let me preface by saying I really like BBM and their podcasts, templates, etc. Let me also says i've tried lots of different powders, ON goldstandard, bodyfortress, NOW sports, jarrow, and probably a half dozen misc brands. Some taste better than others, and I drink lots of unflavored formulations no problem. I have never thrown out a tub. Until today.I took one big gulp of the vanilla and was overwhelmed by an awful chemical flavor to the point I wondered if it was safe. I threw the tub away. This wasn't like "oh i dont like strawberry and btw this strawberry flavored whey tastes like crap"... this was like "oh god, what household cleaner did i just ingest?"I would not write this review except the taste was so disconcerting that i think i need to bring attention to it in case there is a manufacturing defect.I took a pic before i tossed it Lot 08521BBWV 17:11 0902

Product has all the things you want in a protein supplement and none of what you don't. Taste isn't as bold as other products, but tastes great and has a very good flavor without all the fillers other supplement products have.

I like this protein, it mixes well and doesn't have a nasty fake sugar taste. I wouldn't mind a little real sugar in it but you can always add your own if you like. Chocolate flavor is pretty mild overall.

In all fairness to the product i have not used it as recommended therefore my evaluation is probably not useful. It does taste good (Chocolate), not too sweet, just right for my taste. It mixes well in a blender and leaves no after taste. But, as for actual nutritional value, i don't know at this time.

Got this for my husband, he loves it! Price is great per serving, good quality, amino acid profile on point! Will definitely be our go to protein from now on. Happy to support the BM team!

Didn't know it has stevia so the taste is off in my mind. But with some almond milk it tastes great
