Want to love these but...
Two years ago I bought a pair of these that were identical in looks, but were a different brand. They were amazing. When they started to rip, I searched and searched but could not find them. I stumbled upon these in November 2017, which as I said are identical. I was confused about the different brand name but whatever. Figured they had to be the same. Wrong. While I do love these grips when I was able to use them, this pair ripped after a month and half. I strictly use them to deadlift twice a week. I have a issues with the joints in my hands, leaving me with a weak grip. These grips allow me to grasp the bar easily, causing less pain in my fingers. Really wish they were made as well as my last pair.Extremely disappointed.

Fantastic options for improving grip strength, protecting your palms and looking cool...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I just wanted to take a second and write a quick review on the Gripad Workout Grips. Just wanted to say that I AM NOT being paid for this review. I purchased the Gripads for $12.23 on 11/30/2016.This is the second pair of these that I've purchased. They have held up great, and I still have the first pair purchased over a year ago. I wanted a second pair that I could keep in my gym bag so when I'd always have a pair accessible.Check out the pictures I've attached for details, but the size fits great. I am 6'1", 195 lbs and they fit perfectly. My girlfriend also borrows them at times and she is 5'4", 110 lbs... so they truly are one size fits all.The grip surface is secure and works well for heavy lifting. They properly tax your grip - perfect for pullups/curls for example. All in all - these are great. And a bonus is that they look far better than the 'dreaded' workout gloves you see in gyms these days. They allow your hands to breathe!Pros:One size fits allHigh durabilityImproves grip strengthGood, secure gripCons:Grip strength - the girlfriend finds some exercises too difficult with the Gripads (i.e. pullups) due to small hands and the increase grip diameter.True Crossfiters may find the grip too tacky for exercises like muscle-ups.

Best grip pads for lifting weights
Have gone through a few similar grip pads from other manufacturers but these have by far been the most durable. I've had several pairs over the years of this specific brand and cash say they're the best. I've used weight lifting gloves but prefer these for their freedom and breathability. Also no calluses! I won't make the mistake of buying cheaper ones again that start to break down immediately.

No returns. Very thick padding. Loose fitting
Padding is way too thick and i thought not having a spot to put your pinky in wouldn't matter but the workout grips would have been a lot better with a spot to put your pinky finger in. They are feel really loose on your hands. I have big hands and with the thickness of the padding it makes it hard for me to completely grip bars/dumbbells. I would definitely not recommend these for small hands or for women. I bought 2 pairs. This seller doesn't allow RETURNS!!!! I CANT return my second brand new pair. Ugh....

Great alternative to gloves - Some drawbacks
I had used gloves for a long time in the gym. I have grown bigger and stronger and spared my hands as a result of the gloves. Now, the worst part is that they get nasty and stinky but they can be durable. These were a breath of fresh air as far as hygiene was concerned. If you're a new user you can expect a bit of growing pain with these as they are a bit thick around the fingers and the natural compression of your hand while doing work will be altered. It's nothing major but expect it.So a few pluses with these is that they challenge your grip a little more than not using them and when they're new and fresh they have tremendous grip, but that does wear over time as I'll explain. They are most certainly padded and that allows me to use heavier weight more comfortable with less pain and more focus. That being said the drawbacks: I have L/XL hand size. I like these for pressing exercises except that I don't position the weight directly in the palm of my hand but rather on the heel of my hand. To get optimal positioning of the pad on my hand I have to only use my index finger and slightly adjust the pad in my hand. Not a major deal but worth mentioning. I wouldn't want them to be any bigger to counter this issue but some people complain about little things and now you're prepared if you're like me. What these are best for his hanging and pulling exercises. Those do the most wear and tear. pullups and hanging leg raises for abs tend to put a lot of wear on the pads. The grip, for me, is honestly not the most important feature of these pads, the padding is. Expect the grip to wear and break away with use.So, in summary I'll add that I received a free pair originally with a body building .com order and they have completely worn. I lift 4-6 days a week without missing a beat. They lasted a decent amount of time. These just arrived today and they seem much more sturdy than the other pair. Perhaps I have not broken them in, or the "free" pair were made with less dense material, or they have simply made improvements. We shall see!

Just What I Wanted!
I was looking for a pair of gloves so that I wouldn't get calluses on my hands when lifting heavy, but I didn't want my hands covered because they sweat in the gloves. These gloves solves both problems. They cover just the palms of my hands, preventing calluses or blisters, right where the fingers and palm of my hand meets. No sweating either because they don't cover the entire hand. Perfect! Thank you very much! A+

My all time favorite gloves to lift
I have been using this brand for many years and I love it. It protects my hands and at the same time they can breathe, hence the gloves don’t smell. The grip is perfect and they are very discrete.

Durable, non-slip, perfect
This is a fantastic invention. Suitable for both males and females, it sits snuggly in your palm. I cannot train without these now. They are durable and have enough padding to protect your hands. I use them 5 times a week with heavy weights, and only need replacement 1-2 times a year. Considering the price, it's fantastic!

excellent product
I first started using grip pads, instead of gloves, about 8 years ago. The first pair I purchased were reebok which were great... However those are no longer available, so last year I brought some pro grips... They were ok but as they had a leather palm they weren't washable!... These being neoprene will be, so I'm expecting many years use.. They are quite large compared to the previous pairs, but they're ok.. I'm female and wear size med gloves

if you row, get these
they are thicker and better cushioned than the reebok/concept 2 type, which admittedly served me well for 2.5million meters, tho the eyelets are losing some of their elasticith after 200.000m or so, but that could just be my fat fingers.use them on opposite hands to cover all of the hands contact with the handle.

better than gloves..ish
I have used various weightlifting gloves over the years, and have always managed to get callouses on my palm at base of fingers. It didn't matter whether the gloves were fabric or leather, I still got the callouses. Eventually I just stopped wearing the gloves. The grippad is a whole different ball-game, it has full palm and finger coverage, excellent grip, doesn't bunch up or slide around on your hand and no callouses :-) So why 4 stars and not 5 ? Well after 2 months of solid use, the right hand one is starting to fall apart - a piece of the foam has disappeared. I suspect that it's because I do ring-work and lots of pull-ups, and they just can't handle the strain. However, if you are just using them for dumbell/barbell work I would certainly recommend them.
