Magic Gate Portable Folding Safe Guard Install Anywhere (Pet safety Enclosure)

No no no.... I thought I was ordering the correct size I live on a top floor so my entrance door leads up to stairs in my living room. I wanted to try this out to see if I could keep my dog from hanging down the bottom of the stairs while being able to easily come up and down myself. This is way too big so either I didn’t realize I ordered the wrong size which I’m pretty sure I measured correctly and this took an insane amount of time to come in and honestly at this point it’s not even worth it to ship it back for a refund so I will be gifting this to someone else.

But it was a pain to put together. So for that it was not worth it. And I wanted to long to send it back. So I was out on both ends.

Install took me about 20 minutes. No instructions came with it so I googled some. It is very long so I rolled one side to fit my opening. My only real negative is you cant easily remove a hook to walk through. For $10 I am fine with it.

This portable gate works as it should. One piece was missing, luckily my roommate had a part from an older gate that she replaced it with. The gate is durable and does its job.

no instructions, no way to adjust length, broken white plastic hooks, 2 odd looking metal tubes that didn't fit together. horrible STRONG chemical smell, i gagged opening up the package, NOT FOR ANYONE WITH CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES!i considered trying to use it as a barrier in my garden, but just put it inn the charity box. maybe someone can use it for something, in their garage, certainly not as a dog gate! total waste of money and there was no way i would wash that to get the chemical ordor out. REALLY DISAPPOINTING AND PROBABLY THE WORSE THING I BOUGHT ON AMAZON! not anything like the product photo.

This product is well made out of good materials. However, the dimensions do not make it easy to shorten for a standard house doorway/opening. They suggest rollling it up and using paper clips but this is not an adequate solution. Also, the hooks they provide are not of high quality (ie like 3M command hooks) and damaged the wall when removing the hooks.

Do not waste your money! Extremely disappointed. Retractable means you can stand there and manually wind it up on the flimsy pole that comes with it. Good luck on keeping it wound and not having to do it every time you move it. No instructions - not just bad instructions or hard to follow instructions - nothing at all.I am thinking about trying to cut the panel to fit where I need it to go and holding it up with four Command hooks. Not as convenient as this item was supposed to be; but, at least that might work.

The support poles are quite flimsy and difficult to open. It’s a great idea but we need to replace the poles with something sturdier to keep my dogs from getting out. I don’t recommend unless you are able to supervise pets so they don’t get through.
