IF you can make this work for you, its a super deal on a TRUE HD projector
UPDATE: I had some small problems due to my own mistake and CIBEST customer service was amazing. Responsive and they communicate well and are focused on pleasing their customers.SO I bumped this item to 5-★ , I'm very impressed with this product and company. * * *I've purchased several "HD" projectors in the past few years, and the mistake I made was that most "scale to HD" but are not true HD. This was the first one I bought that was true 1080p HD, which I'm very happy with.1080p is 1920 x 1080. Most economy-priced 1080p projectors native resolution is only 1280 x 800 which is a LONG way from true 1080p. Some have visible pixels at even 60in. Others sacrifice clarity by *smudging* the pixels to make it to 1080p. Either solution is at best a weak facsimile of 1080p.Gladly, the image from this projector is true 1080p, and its very clear and sharp.IMAGE QUALITY - 9Next, brightness. Brightness is measured in lumens and this one claims to be around 3600. It might be. Its pretty bright. The image below is in mid-day daylight and it's defintely "watchable".BRIGHTNESS - 9SIze and quality? Its very light and has a small footprint. I had some quality issues but those were warehouse items. The third was not, and it's fine. So I recommend spend a little more and buy new.QUALITY - 10Now for some downsides. Most true 1080p 3600 lumen projectors are over $500. Many are closer to $1000. This one is only about $250, so what do you give up for that price? In my estimation, features. Many very important features are missing from this product. Most importantly, the image can't be zoomed to size it to your screen- the only option is to move the projector closer or further from the screen (or move the screen). In many applications that's impractical because the screen is hung on a wall, and the projector is on an opposite wall on a shelf. So the distance is fixed, and cannot be easily changed. At 12' it yields about a 120" diagonal image. Give or take. I had to tweak my screen hanging hardware to get mine to look right, and there is still about 1-2" of the image outside the screen. But at 120", that's tolerable (<1% loss). So I was fortunate and got it to work.In other configurations, it may not work. The lack of image zoom can be a serious drawback.Second, the menu lacks many other features found in other products. Test pattern? No. White Balance? No. Sharpness? No. And so on. The menu options are sparse. Also, this projector has very limited I/O options. 2 HDMI and 2 USB, and VGA. No DVI. No optical or Coax out. No HDMI out. Also, a particularly annoying every time the projector starts up, you have to re-select the input. It would be nice to just default to the last one that was used since for most users, one HDMI source is plugged in and that's the one used, forever. There are few options for tilting the projector. And the focus / keystone are very difficult to dial in. I had to add several spacers under the legs to fit the image onto the screen. Tricky.FEATURES - 4And for LED it creates a lot of heat. I'm not sure why. This 3rd one runs cooler, but still more heat than other LED projectors I've had.HEAT / POWER CONSUMPTION - 4So if you can live with the lack of features (maybe future firmware changes will improve this), you can't find a better $250 HD projector with good brightness. And you may be able to get one closer to $200 if you use the 15% discount code on the listing.PS I don't know why some of the images I added loaded upside-down. I flipped them on the computer and re-loaded and they were STILL upside-down. Things that make you go HUH?

Somewhat disappointed, but it's pretty good for the price.
Fan is fairly loud. First thing you'll notice. Could be worse, but after a few weeks use I have considered taking the project apart & installing a quieter fan like those used in any modern pc. The keystone feature is 100% unusable. If you can't find a way to put the projector very close to directly inline, don't get it. Using the keystone adjustment makes the bottom or top of the screen go out of focus with no way to fix it without making the other side blurry. The headphone output is mono only. Can't get stereo sound from it. So if you want to hook up external speakers, you can't use the projector as an audio source. Use your computer, or cable box, whatever. It IS bright and colors are good. We set it on a book case behind our couch. The "screen" is 150" at this distance, and VERY watchable in most lighting. EXCELLENT in the dark.

Just buy it if you're thinking about it
I tried a couple cheap LCD panel projectors, one 720p and one cheaper 1080p, and this one was the best native 1080p projector at a very reasonable price for the image quality. I would say this is on par with a DLP projector with the added benefit of an LED light source that *should last a long long time*. The colors were great, the contrast was good, the only qualm is a slight red hue on skin tones. The LED is super bright and I would say it is 3000lm or more from experience. All white screens make you want to squint. There is no optical zoom control so placement has to be perfect if mounting. Focus is a tad soft on the corners but as long as your screen is flat and your projector is not at an angle, you should be fine and is not noticeable. The only honest reason not to buy this projector is if you want or need optical zoom. It makes setup so much easier and gives you placement options where as this one does not and is frankly quite annoying. But remember this is half the price of a DLP in the same resolution category.Pros:-The colors and contrast are good. No complaints really.-Powerful LED. The picture on a 100-110" screen is almost too bright in a dark room. Whites are especially bright and light up the room.-No overscan so you can use a computer and see the whole frame-Two HDMI inputs-50' HDMI from my receiver worked with no issues or booster-Remote is back lit-Ceiling mountable-Adjustment foot nut will fit a camera mount screw for tripod use. (very fragile but works in a pinch)-Fan is not annoyingly noisy-According to my receiver and my ear/eye coordination, the input delay is 80ms which is better than my TV requiring 250ms delay.Cons:-No optical zoom (but this is true for all of these cheap LCD panel projectors)-There tends to be a little bit of a red hue on skin tones-Must remove the stuck on rubber feet to get at the mounting holes.-The focus must be retracted to attach the lens cap-Projector has a hard coded 4 hour shut off time. If you watch two long movies, it will shut off suddenly in the middle of the second movie.---The most annoying con for me is the boot up menu. The projector boots to a selection screen and not the last input. VERY ANNOYING for a permanent installation. I have no desire to use the media player functions of this projector and wish I could turn that menu off. The seller said they would forward the feedback to the MFG.
