good upgrade for the Bambu X1
I picked this up after I wore out 2 sets of the original Bambu gear drive sets, it seems like it'll be more durable, and moves a lot more freely than the stock one, the machined metal feels like good quality materials.It perfectly fits in place of the stock one, so installation was easy, I have had improvements to print quality since installing it, but that is likely because of how worn out my old one was.

Switched out the original for the brass gears. Flow rate increased slightly but is consistent. I haven’t had a jam up since the switch.

Save your money and don't get this one.
Not worth the headache. I received this March 1st, 2025, failed June 25th, 2025. Small extruder gear bearing is seized and can't get to spin at all. When I got to looking around brass shavings everywhere. Save your money.

Love this thing
Awesome little extruder for my BBL P1S. Working great and was fairly easy to install (replaced the head at the same time with a hardened one for more durability).

Not quite as well made as the pictures lead you to believe but it fits and works. Can’t speak for longevity as I just got it last week 6/12/2025
