very easy to setup i installed for my car and i'm planning to buy more for my other cars as well worth any pennies with good quality and in this nowadays very necessary to have on everycars not have problem with extreme heat we have in midwest and hope stay good with extreme cold temp as well not blocking my view when i'm driving and i'm happy how it works for me

Really impressed with this dash cam setup. The 2.5K front camera delivers super clear video where you can actually read license plates, and having the 1080p rear camera included gives total peace of mind on the road. Compact size: The mini design and 2-inch screen sit nicely near the rearview mirror without blocking any view of the road. Easy mount: The suction mount holds firm, and the 170° wide-angle lens covers multiple lanes easily. Night vision: WDR holds up surprisingly well in low light and under streetlights.

Great product for the price. Unfortunately mine did not come with an SD card so the company is sending one to me. They respond very quickly and have 24/7 support. The set up was pretty easy as well. My only issue that the rear camera does not work well with my back windshield as it is slanted. The camera shows the inside of my car instead of the outside. I will need to get heavy duty tape to secure it up properly.

I couldn't get it to detect the camera after conecting until I turned off the DuckDuckgo VPN. Hasn't run down my battery yet running 24/7 at 2k. Very nice. I bought another for the rear since I have another hot 12v facing back seats. I will update if it runs battery down, I set rear at 1080p to use less juice. Great camera, app is good, I can hook to it's WiFi signal from inside my townhouse with us well beyond the stated distance and through walls. I just named Dash and DashR and they will appear in your wifi list to connect and see videos and pics. They don't auto connect by default but I set them on my pixel phone to never auto connect. The cameras will loop video as long as they have juice, so no need to connect unless you want to see a video. I set videos to 3 minutes cuz it can take a while to load all the videos up, if they're 1 minute you'll have many pages of videos to scroll through - I put in 256 sd cards. As I said a VPN will block it so at first I turned off my beloved free duckduckgo VPN (highly recommend their free browser , VPN and app tracker blocker all in one Android app), but later figured out I could just turn the camera app off as an exception in the VPN settings. Pretty cool all around. I use it to monitor the alley and my back gate of my townhouse as I'm in midtown where strangers walk by and lift latches, steal etc.... Highly recommend. I'm not getting anything free for the review - wish I was - and I bought $18 Samsung Evo blue micro SD cards, they worked with no problems, just pop in and hold the power button down a few seconds and it will format and you're up and going. After the first initial manual button formatting you can reformat from app. The first format must be done with the button because the camera can't get online without running.... I think... Anyway that's how I did it twice. This model apparently works better than their old one and 2k is good enough for license numbers etc ... 4k apparently doesn't work as well i low light and can stutter .. from what I've read only... And draw more battery juice. So this seems fine. Hope this helps. I'm an IT guy and I almost returned it feeling baffled until I turned off VPN on phone. So it's pretty easy otherwise. I heard the hardwire kit is a pita and my 12v sockets are always hot anyway to let the cameras run. If your sockets aren't hot when the car is off that's probably just as well as you never have to worry about battery in car ever and the camera will start running as soon as you start your car and it gets juice.

I’m very happy with this dash cam. The video quality is clear, and I really like that it includes both front and rear cameras for extra coverage. It feels like a great value for the price and gives me extra peace of mind while driving. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable front and rear dash cam.

I’ve purchased four of these to put in our vehicles. They are easy to install and they seem to work correctly. However in one of our cars we’ve almost been in 2 accidents. The first time it didn’t record any of our trip home. So that close call was never recorded. Just today I almost got T-boned at an intersection. When I hit the brakes, the dash cam flew off the windshield. I was hoping it would have captured something. After going back and looking at the locked and unlocked videos, it appears it didn’t start recording until the cam detached from the glass. I have nothing from before the incident. This is completely unacceptable and unfortunate that I didn’t figure this out until I already purchased 4. I’m going to take them out of the cars and throw them straight in the trash. You trust these things to be your extra set of eyes when there is an incident. I’ve been totally let down.

I wanted a new dashcam that showed me what it sees so I could ensure a proper view is captured. I searched and found this one - the reviews seemed good to enough to take a chance so I did and I'm glad. It's a solid little unit, the suction cup works perfectly (and it's HOT where I live) and the screen is bright enough to see clearly without causing glare at night. I thought it was a touch screen (it's not) but the menu buttons are clearly marked and easy to use. I was able to set resolution, turn off audio recording and set the record loop time with ease. As you can see I didn't set the date but that's not very important to me - I'll get around to it. I love that it's USBc because I didn't have to run a new cable since one was already there from my old dash cam that we moved to another vehicle. It doesn't come with an SD card - but it says that in the description. I'm using a Sandisk 32GB and had no trouble formatting it.

It works pretty well and locks the recording when it detects hard braking. For some reason it records in 1 minute segments, unless locked. It has a front and back camera, and the cables fit around a typical sedan. It's obviously not the highest quality, but good for the price. I just needed something to record incase of an issue on the road.

After many discussions with my partner about pedestrians who like to walk off the sidewalk and walk out in front of my car, I was urged to get a dash cam for my safety. Finally, I decided to get one and I'm very glad that I did. I feel the quality of both pictures and video are excellent. The unit was a bit of a pain to install - but that was simply due to user error and not a fault of the camera itself. Once I got the camera in place, it's been stellar. The only thing I don't particularly like (and it's really just a minor thing for me) is the fact it seems to take ages to upload video clips to my phone. Because I do not have it hardwired, the camera is only accessible when it's plugged in and I have to download everything to my phone. But - this is a minor inconvenience. If the video clip was needed (in the case of a crash or pedestrian stepping out into traffic) it would only need the moment of impact and not the entire drive, so taking a few minutes to download the file to the phone isn't a big deal. I'm not a person who does dash cam videos for Youtube or whatever; so I don't need them. I was trying to download the first drive because I wanted to see how the drive looked from start to finish but was frustrated at how long it took to download every minute long video clip. I did get a single clip and was able to view that on my PC and could see what kind of quality I got from the video - which was fantastic. So overall, this is a great purchase and I'm so happy to have bought it.

Camera works great, app is very user friendly and is always free. Great video quality. Has some issues I have my camera wired to my ignition after some trial and error with how to power it. Beware, do not hot wire to your battery as this camera WILL drain your battery while sitting. Even with the proper harness to prevent low voltage. For that reason, i have it set up to only power while the car is running. I had this camera wired to my battery with the proper harness and let my car sit for 7 days without being driven. When I got back, my battery was flat dead and cost me $200 to replace. A big issue, the SD card that comes with the camera is a no-name piece of garbage that only holds 32 gigs. I bought 2 cameras and both SD cards failed after a couple of months. Replaced with a 128gb Amazon basics and it fixed my issues.

I installed this dash cam for peace of mind and have been very happy with it so far. The setup process was straightforward, and connecting to the app was easier than expected. The video quality is clear during both daytime and nighttime driving, and important details like license plates are generally easy to make out. Having access to the footage through the app is convenient, and knowing that incidents are being recorded makes me feel much more confident on the road. And you don't even need to have the memory card to get the captures. Caught some pretty sick storms and some not very smrt drivers. One thing to note is my adhesive started to peel off about 2 months after but I think it was a mixture of sun and cool that did that.

Good dashcam but the app that goes with it sucks the method of transferring footage requires the SD card be removed which is hard to remove and insert back in.

Picture quality is not that great. For this dashcam to be "Amazon's Choice", not worth it. Even daytime, the picture quality is a bit blurry. And the glares from street/car/etc. lights make it worse.
