I used this carbide drill bit set to install a hose reel on my brick house, and it was super easy. The bits grabbed immediately, went through the brick cleanly, and didn’t wander or chip the surface. I’ve used other masonry bits before that struggled, but these made the job simple and quick. Great set with all the sizes I needed. Definitely worth it.

An excellent and very complete bit set for home projects. I've used them on concrete and tile, and the carbide tip drills through with no issues. The best part is the hex shank; it locks perfectly into the drill and doesn't slip like traditional round bits. For the price and the variety of sizes (10 pieces), they are totally worth it.

After numerous failed attempts to drill a hole through 3/4 inch steel using an assortment of HSS/carbide bits, I decided to try masonary bits. Success at last. The bits did become dull, but they performed much better than my HSS bits.

I got these drill bits a few weeks ago and have used them several times now. The first was for drilling holes in concrete for rebar pins and it went through the concrete like it was nothing. Today, I used them to drill drainage holes in huge cast iron pots for my mom’s plants. Let me just say that these bits are a beast. That went through the cast iron fairly easily. I used the 1/4 first, then opened it up with 1/2.

Very disappointed with this drill bit set. I bought it to drill holes for concrete anchors while installing my gazebo, and the bits became dull almost immediately. One of the bits even broke after only a short amount of use. They don’t seem durable enough for concrete or masonry work as advertised. I expected these to handle a basic anchoring job, but they failed long before the project was finished. I ended up having to buy a better-quality set to complete the installation. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend these if you’re drilling into concrete. returning this trash drill bit. DO NOT BUY THUS

I ordered these masonry bits to help mount a garden hose reel to my red brick exterior. They were delivered very quickly (which was great for my weekend project) and I enjoyed that they came color coded and in a case so can keep them separated from my other bits. I noticed one review stated these did not work on red brick but I did not have an issue but I used a Hammer Drill to actually make the 4 holes with these bits. Can't say how long they will last but they worked great for this project.

Living in an apartment this are needed to hang anything on the walls. Finally have curtains up. The colour is a bonus.

Seem to stand up well.
