I have one of these torches for my work the emergency service. I work a 24/7 shift pattern which involves earlies, lates and nights (6 on 4 off). I use the torch on late or night shifts, and I only need to charge it every 2 or 3 months. The torch lights up the night like the day, it is extremely bright.There are a number of features which will take me an age to go into, and there are some features which are programmable. The torch includes a small set of instructions and spare rubber grommets for the battery cover and LED housing. I haven't been required to change these. It is a very sturdy light, and I have dropped it a few times - I think the road has been damaged more than the torch has!The batteries you need are the 18650 ones, and these are quite pricey but they do last a very long time. I recommend this torch to anyone who needs light in the dark.One useful tip I have is that you can buy a smoke grenade belt pouch which this torch fits nicely into.

If you are in the market for a powerful, versatile torch/lantern, you need look no further.I was looking for a torch that would go from a very low (moonlight) setting to a beam equivalent to a car's headlight at one touch of a button in a stepless manner and this torch performs this function perfectly.I often require just enough light to check on the kids at night without falling over shoes and toys and without waking anyone up. This torch starts off at a very low level of less than one lumen.The torch will stand on its base and light a room for days at a time if required at the lower end of the lumen scale and will act as as the perfect nightlight at very low lumen levels.Even without the four 18650 lithium batteries required, it is excellent value and you will be impressed with the design and build quality.This is a heavyish torch to be keeping a grip on for a prolonged period and as such I would have considered a wrist strap to be essential, but this is not provided and no provision is made on the base of the torch to fit one.The torch is easy to use in its basic function, but you will need to read the instructions first, which are in reasonable easy to understand English.

This is a powerful flashlight. Exceeded my expectations. Very, very pleased with it. The only minor improvement would be to have a point where one could put a loop to hold the flashlight secure in the event of a drop.

Must say I really love the look and feel of it. It feels like a solid bit of equipment. What I like most about this is the ramp up and down mode. It’s very easy to you and extremely bright

very bright, but you need some very good 18650 batterys to get the full benefit from the light , it does drain them fast.
