Integrated Korean: Advanced Intermediate 1 (KLEAR Textbooks in Korean Language, 12)

I have been learning Korean with this book for couple years. This book is good. It gives detailed explanation and it introduces Korean culture. You can get the audio of the conversations on their website.

The material in this book is so outdated. These books really need to be gone through and updated. The conversations are no longer conversations anyone would be having now, and the vocabulary for each chapter always seems random and not incredibly useful. I wouldn't use this to study Korean on my own.

This is a continuation of as excellent professionally developed series. Obviously meant for a class situation but with diligence it works for solo study as well.

Book is new and love it

It was supposed to be a brand new book but when it showed up the corner was way bent. Not too impressed.

This book probably won't help you if you're studying Korean on your own. It's different from the earlier books in the series in that it doesn't give 2 or 3 pages per grammar point, but rather a short paragraph and a few examples. There's a lot more vocabulary, but the chapter themes are odd (a story about how the original coke bottle was designed, a traditional Korean story about a jewel-eating goose) and so a lot of the vocab is useless in real life.
