Very bright grow lights
These grow lights are so bright! Do not look directly at the light, especially if you have it turned up! Fortunately the light strength is adjustable. I got this for some of my house plants that seem to want more light than my living room offers. I have been using the light on its lowest setting for a few hours each day and am pleased so far. I also really like how the arms are moveable and you can put them right next to the plants. In case anyone was wondering, they don't get hot.

Easily adjustable, easy to set up, flexible, GREAT GROW LIGHTS WITH TIMER!!! highly recommend (I'm growing hydroponically)
I'm desperately trying to grow lettuces and salad greens hydroponically, I already have 2 aerogardens but wanted to expand even more without that cost - this is PERFECT... I have a huge cardboard box filled with mason jars, and I put my sprouted greens (in net pots, in their jiffy peat pots) under the lamp in the box and just let them go. The lights can be adjusted, which is great, and THIS TIME IS AWESOME!! So many of them don't have a timer, I just wish there was a way to make it stay on for 16 hours at a time instead of just 12, but oh well.... for the price I don't think you can do better!

Good size for small
Actually was a perfect size for the small grow. Nice sturdy works just as described.
