CarreraMizumi Shubi Watergun

Not a bad water gun
This is my first water gun but I bought this one before I wanted one that would not leak, and one that was small, and one that had a pump on top instead of on the bottom. This had all that, so I bought it. It shoots quite a decent amount of water. It won't instantly soak someone in a split second, but it does seem to shoot a decent amount of water, you would definitely know that you got hit if the water from this thing hit you. The shield comes off, which is great. The gun doesn't leak at all, and the cap screws on very snugly. It seems like the whole thing is made of thick, durable plastic. There is one issue though, the top of the gun, where the pump is, the plastic seemed to kind of come open a little when I had pumped it up with some pressure. I had seen this issue talked about with other Nerf guns. I heard it can cause the gun to eventually break at the seam there, or start leaking there. So I got me a high temp glue gun. At first I figured I would rough up the plastic along the seam, so that the glue would have some texture to "cling" to, and make the glue stronger. But when I touched the hot tip of the HIGH temp glue gun to the plastic, I noticed it was slowly melting the plastic. So I literally used the hot tip to melt the plastic slowly along the seam, while pinching it tightly shut together. So I melted it shut, and then on top of that I also added a thin later of glue to give it extra strength. It required about half an hour of patient work but this solve the issue of it wanting to come open at the seam. I figure a soldering stick would have melted it quite a lot faster though, my glue gun was only 20watts and I had to move it really slowly to melt the seam shut.

these were a really great deal. They are larger than I thought they ...
I bought eleven of these for my 6 yr old's birthday party; they were on sale at the time. For the price per gun, these were a really great deal. They are larger than I thought they would be (end-to-end about 11") and the younger kids were able to shoot them without too much difficulty. The shield is a superfluous gimmick but the kids liked it so I guess it's fine, easy enough to leave off if you want.

My five year olds favorite
My five year old loves this thing, mainly the shield part of it, it makes him feel absolutely powerful when he blocks a blast from another water gun, luckily he is small enough where this works for him. Also it is easier on him in the fact that you pump it up then shoot rather than pumping to shoot which is a little harder on him to do. All in all we have all had fun as this is just one of many different types of water guns I bought to do something with my kids this summer. Nothing bonds family like pumping each others faces full of water. Get one, bond, and have fun.

Say hello to my little friend.....
Interesting and inexpensive squirt gun. Pump action is on the top (never seen that before). Shield on the side is removable. Shoots a decent distance too. Worth the price for what it is.

Durable and powerful
These are well built guns. The kids like to use the with or without the shield. After lots of use they are still holding up well but need a bit of lubricant where you pump it. My favorite water guns so far. They shoot far and have a cool little removable shield and hold a good amount of water. Plus no need for batteries is a huge plus.

Easy to pump
Distance: shoots VERTICALLY UP to the top of a second-story house. Easy to pump. No leaks so far, except of course the tip can have a drop or two.

Leaks water and doesn't hold pressure!!
Returning, Leaks water and doesn't hold pressure!! Not sure why all the good reviews but this is not an effective watergun, barely shoots 4 feet and is pretty much useless! I expect other reviewers received item for free.

This squirt gun is amazing. It works so much better than anything in the price range. The shield is stupid but is easily removed.
