My three year old niece wanted a conch shell for Christmas so she could hear the ocean whenever she wanted. She opened this up and was so excited. She loved it! I thought 8-9 inches was not that big, but this shell was huge! Even the packaging was nice. It came in a plain white box with blue shredded confetti type stuffing and even had a little card that said where the shell was from, which was pretty neat. I was very pleased with it, and it was a beautiful pink and white shell. Would recommend!

Beautiful, in excellent shape. The slit was larger than expected, but in an area that is mostly out of view. I purchased it mainly for the sound. Florida native missed the Atlantic Ocean. If you listen in, then cover the slit with your finger, the sound changes by an octave. I Love it!

It was pretty but it was way smaller than I thought. It definitely wasn't as big as stated.

This is a really pretty shell, and my friend will be thrilled with it. The color is lovely and it is intact, nothing but the slit wot remove the animal. I am very happy with it.

The conch I received was nothing like the one pictured in the listing. Faded color, very worn exterior and marks on interior. The kicker is the shell's opening, it was obviously cut by hand and not at all natural appearing. And no, I'm not referring to the harvesting slit. See photo for details. The only reason it wasn't returned was due to being used in a photoshoot as a blurry backdrop to a wonderful conch purchased from another vendor. The other conch was perfect and only a few dollars more.
